We dont have bad years but rather years without a plan or without a
smart goal
That is a year without
S = specific goal
M = measurable goals
A = achievable goals
R = relevant goal
T = time bound goal
2017 is around the corner and it is very paramount to set goals for 2017. So that you can achieve maximally from 2017
In this post, i am going to highlight to you 7 steps to set goals for the new year.
Here are 7-step goal setting model you can use to set goals for 2017.

STEP ONE
In this step, you are to decide exactly what you want in the new year.
Have a clear picture of what you want to achieve in 2017. Instead of fuzzy goals like more money, better health and happiness,
be specific about the exact amount of money you want to earn at a specific period of time.

STEP TWO
Put down your goals on paper.
Success begins with a piece of paper and a pen in your hands coupled with few minutes of your time.
Think on paper if you cannot write it down clearly and specifically on a piece of paper, then it means that you
are not really clear about it yourself.
When you write your goals down it is as if you are programming it into your subconscious mind and activating a whole service
of mental powers that will enable you to accomplish more than you ever dreamed of.

STEP THREE
Be time bound
Set a deadline
Deadlines acts as a "forcing system"on your subconscious mind and begins to move you toward
your goal rapidly while it moves your goal toward you.
A deadline helps you to know when to achieve a goal. You may achieve your goal before the deadline. But
if you dont, set another deadline.
be time bound
Set a deadline.

STEP FOUR
Here, list everything you could possibly think of that will help you achieve your goals.
The more comprehensive your list, the more motivated you will become,
the more intense your desire and the more you will believe it possible.

STEP FIVE
Put your goals into plan
Take your list and organize it into a plan.
Organize it in the order of priority and importance.
Which goal would you like to achieve first?
Which goal is more important to you?
List them and organize them accordingly.

STEP SIX
Take action
This is the big killer for most people.
Even after having a specific goal, must have written it [them] down and have organized their goals.
Dont procrastinate
Start now
Faith without work is dead.

STEP SEVEN
Step seven is for you to do something daily that will help you move towards your major goal.
see you at the top in 2017.
