You expect a government that is running a budget deficit to dole you money for buisness with no serious strings attached?

You are complaining about the government, when will you start a campaign against pipeline bombing, to bereft your government of excuses like the CJTF is doing against boko haram?

When will you campaign against traders who have hiked prices for flimsy reasons?

Government is not a celestial feeding bottle if you don't complain about things affecting the Government, you have no right to tell us how the Government's response affected you.

You cant approach the courts, you can't organise a protest, not even an ordinary rally, you come here to rant away your laziness.
Sleeping Youths complaining, continue sleeping, hunger will wake you soon.

Who is this one now.Are you educated than some of us? Are as read as some of us? Are you diligent as some of us? Do you think these are jobless people? These are youths in pain because BOI changed the rules half way into a major programme like this luring and cajoling many to invest everything and later come up with stringent conditions which was never ever disclosed initially and you are here talking rubbish. Nobody beg them to help the youths, they came out with the initial conditions and they should maintain that. Many youths joined the programme because of the initial conditions.

Kapish?

Your experience just confirmed that BOI are doing well and have learnt from past mistakes.
Remember the Jonathan YOUWIN programme, many that collected the money used it for something different from the business.
If you are genuine and real, you will look for those that around you that believe in you and they will stand as your guarantor.
5M is not 500M nor 50M, rather than complain on NL, go to work and get those that stand for you and get rich following your dream.

May I tell you, more than 90% of those that tell you they can't get guarantor may have gotten guarantors, don't be a loser.
I think you got the message wrong my brother is not even 5m worth of guarantors but the loan must not be more than 30 % networth of the guarantors so for example someone that applies for 5 million needs something like 16m worth of guarantors

Because it is a waste of time and money.

Your stupidity know no bounds... Nigeria has over 150million people with different issues and problems on daily basis, you as a person wch 1 have you solved? Who asked the government for a program they cannot keep up to the terms..
Going to court, yes but what happens to taking a step at a time
Nobody woke up one morning and decided to complain about Boi nd yes-p out of fun... We are talking about 6months of intensive time and financial consuming tasks that we were put through for nothing or we see nothing coming out of it...

Well FYI online here is how much our resources can carry us, since u know so much, why not push the case further... We would really appreciate

Organise yourselves in protest, I want to read the update of your protest not this c0ck and bull story.
If it was politicians, youths like you will swarm behind them.
Jobless Nigerian youths have the number to make a change yet they are all at home waiting for celestial feeding bottle.

It is a special loan earmarked by the FG through these banks (BOI, Heritage, Sterling and *Fidelity) to assist youth with business ideas. It wasn't supposed to be tied to assets of guarantors because it wasn't a normal bank loan. But along the line, they changed the conditions attached.

So now that makes it a national cake and they should dish it out anyhow?

I actually subscribe to the school of thought that does belief they should reduce the conditions especially guarantors but yet the bank should still make sure they guard their money adequately.

Pls I need to be reminded wat d exact nature of dis course is cos am one of the agitators from d previous thread dat even led to creating this one, u can see from my previous posts nd am nw am turned d enemy because I stated reality nd honesty and that is, for Boi to soften d term attached with guarantors for it to make finding one easy... Why is that bad? Why does d op want Boi to scrap the guarantors totally even when they were told about guarantors during d in class training. Even d FG will not look into such a case nd am sorry it's a dead road if u think a bank will jst wave off its mode of operation 4 ur sake... Forget it... Soften d term for guarantors is d key here but all I see is a bunch blind men trying to lead other blind men

# sportize is officially out... Lemme know wen guarantors are removed for u lot

Clearly, I could see now that there was a comprehension problem on your part along the line. Participants didn't ask for national cake at the outset, it was FG/CBN that called them through adverts and gave them the simplest conditions that they could meet since it was like an intervention. Many participants wouldn't have bothered to apply or stress themselves if they knew that the disbursing banks would later changed the conditions of the loan to usual conditions because they knew that they wouldn't be able to meet such conditions.
But if you still didn't get it, I don't think I can help you further.

If you want someone that you don't know to give you money and you can't find someone you've known a long time to guarantee you, then you are not loan Worthy

Ok we heard. Some people are even collecting grants and you are here preaching loan worthiness. Anyway we are not going to allow our fate to be left in the hands Of third party after we have put in so much in this program. Thank you for your concern, Bye.

I am forced to declare a cease fire on this issue, as I ve seen at least two offer letters from BOI to YES P participants today. My agitation was not to drag the programme or BOI to shame, but to ensure transparency and sincerity from BOI. Thanks to our protests they are now tightening their belts & progress is being made. As a token of gratitude for this progress, I detest & desist from further agitation, with the hope that the progress will be maintained/ improved upon. Even if I have not yet benefited, I congratulate those who received their YES P offer letters.

I applied for grant, my application was accepted but I was told later that it is for only existing businesses. A way of start-ups cannot even start anything.Youwin is for both existing and start-up businesses. Before you finish the whole truth you know, know also that you cannot be advising someone that needs N5million to start his business to go for a N1million grant. You don't know how the shoe pinch the person wearing it.

i smell massive fraud and big scam from the writer of the above, have you been paid by BOI to come on to this forum with false claim? how much were you paid to write the fake story above? more so how do we verify that 2 offer letters out of over 1,500 YES-P applicant was shown to you. if you claim is true this is absolute shame on BOI, only 2 offer letters out of 1500 applicants.
