The title and the story are incongruous. Fayemi is talking about finding a new investor with the required capacity in 2017, not the plant operating at full capacity. Having said that, if the plant can work at full capacity in 2017 that would be a wonderful achievement by the present administration 16 Likes 1 Share |

I have been saying this since. The government should just focus on Ajaokuta steel and Power, and see how every other thing will fall in place. Forget about the propaganda, that's how they said about NAFCON until someone bought it, and its working now. Once buhari revitalize Ajaokuta steel, I will vote him in 2019. 4 Likes |

I have been hearing about revamping Ajaokuta since 1997. Every successive government will come in, promise to revamp it, invest nothing less than 100 billion Naira, till this day....NO CHANGE! I think they should just burn it...yes set it on fire! Over 2 trillion has been 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Guys, Dont get your hopes up 1%. This is absolutely not happening in Q2 2017 because this plant requires loads of replacement that had been cannibalized and vandalized to be able to work. Secondly, some of the primary units are in several levels of completion and the utilities and facilities that support the full capacity production are not functioning well( gas pipes, rail tracks, water pipes etc). This clearly shows that this minister either does not understand the Ajaokuta integrated Steel Plant or he is just absolutely playing with people's minds. If The finance, will and equipment are all on site today, it could take as much as 2 years to get Ajaokuta running at full capacity 3 Likes |

Na so. We believe in you, it's not easy to rule people that are never satisfied They complain about the government but they themselves are actually the problem, Go to every government parastatals, it is them that you find there, they treat you like shlt and look out for nothing more than bribes, even the doctors who should care for human lives and judges who should be unbiased in there judgement are culpable. The police is nothing to write home about, they are not filled with politicians, they are filled up with people like me and you. Be the change you want to see. It's is not the government that is the problem of this country, it is me and you, No body is honest, you can't even get an honest purchase when buying fuel for your car, those are not politicians selling fuel, it's me and u, people even sell fake drugs, those are not politicians, it is me and u, The evil from the love of money has really taking hold of our Thier country. 2 Likes |
