I wonder why he is not performing this year.

Meanwhile, BUCHI should be one of the performing artists.  He is awesome on stage!

No!  you never tire for tye?

Why would i be   he had the best performance last year, plus i cant get enough of him. Its a totally different thing listening to his cdz from experiencing his live performance. His performances are very spontaneous and exciting even the one he performs in churches and events   cheesy

Funny enough, even with the rain, last year's edition was still ground-breaking in my opinion,
Tye Tribett, Fred Hammond, Matthew Olanrewanju, Don Moen and Chavelle Franklyn were simply awesome.

I wont be surprised if you were seated in a covered stand.
I had to zoom to the car when i couldnt bear the cold any more.
It was awesome until the rain started. Its a great festival of xtian music and worship.
I really thank God the rain last year did not discourage the organisers from organising another this year.

is this what wants; singing and dancing, even by the likes of kirk, the Indecency addicted and people who are not better in morality and or belief, reflecting back to the days of ebenezer's esu mase mi omo elomiron ni o se song? is that no correct way to worship the Creator than to partner up mere human and spirit with Him, making such an action the most unjust?

^^^^ I sat in the CENTER with a plastic chair, i stood in the rain and when it was so unbearable i had to run to the stands. I was soaked from head to toe at this time and I've never felt so cold in my whole life. My friend even fainted from the cold!  shocked

But even in this condition my point is the show for last year was so powerful with performances from the likes of Tye Tribett, Chavelle Franklyn, Mary Mary, Fred Hammond and others just before the rain, and for me, i enjoyed it more than the 08' edition, I was really blessed  grin
This is just my opinion, and you may have had a different experience!

Yes world's largest gospel concert - WE UNDERSTAND.

QUESTION:
-------------
1. How exactly is that supposed to glorify the Creator and bring about a spiritual benefit to the church.
2. Why is the focus on things like largest, biggest, funniest and grandest church or choir or building or fellowship or gospel.

ITS REALLY GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO SEPERATE THE B.U.L.L.Poo FROM Poo NOWADAYS AS FAR AS THE SO CALLED GOSPEL MUSICIS CONCERNED.

How i wish Pastor Paul will partner with a good record company to produce these Live! Experiences on VCD/DVD formats.

It will be a good treasure to have.

We will keep enjoying Live! worship by Don Moen, Darlene Zsesch et al because of the packaging done by Integrity music. They can as well pakage these.

Take it easy! It's only a title used in the advert. It means nothing to the organizers.

GBAM. i Agree. But i believe i will forever remember Don Moen's performance in '07. For more than 30 minutes i was "spiritually lost in the spirit". For me, 2007 edition was better, i guess cos my expection was too high for the last yr's edition and the rain didnt help matters. I enjoyed it b/4 the rain started.

I hope your question is not out of beef?

1. Nope it is not out of beef. . .

2. I am a bible believing person. . . hence i easily get pissed off when i see mere hip hop party being masqueraded as a christian event.

3. I have had first hand experiences within fellowships that helps me to easily see when there is bullshit and when there is sincerity.

4. The question hence is that WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF THIS CONCERT TO THE CHURCH AND HOW DOES IT GLORIFY THE CREATOR.

5. Please do not misunderstand me, I like music (almost all kinds of music with a few exceptions), the problem however is that I am sick of the hypocrisy and entertainment mentality that has creeped into the church and is being masqueraded and marketed as Gospel music.

6. There is someone on this nairaland (who i would not identify for privacy reasons) who is a very very good musician and yet does not coat the music in all the so called gospel music bullshit. Yet it does not take a genius to realise that the music is based on the Truth of the Bible and History.
