Hello nairalanders, as this recession bites harder, I want ur opinions on which method of cooking is cheaper. Is it cooking with gas or relying on electricity considering what Discos now charge per KWh of electricity usage. |

Gas is cheaper. ..especially if you use pre-paid meter on your electricity supply line. |

Gas is much cheaper, especially with pre paid meter. But if you are a tenant and you stay in a house where the landlord collects a particular amount of money every year/ month for electricity, whether you use light or not then you can consider electricity |

Thanks alot everyone, am sure now that I don't need to switch over to electricity since I'll be getting prepaid meter very soon. I live in a neighborhood where we are charged on estimated billing, so whatever I use or don't use doesn't count but I plan on getting prepared meter soon because I believe am being overcharged but the cooking aspect has been what am not sure of. |
