In the Holy book, during the time of old, when man spoke just one language, something happened. Christians and bible scholars are well aware of this particular incident; the building of the Tower of Babel. When the people spoke with one voice and one mind, preparing to build for themselves a tower that would get to heaven and see God even God in heaven saw that nothing could change a peoples determination, desire, zeal, ability to achieve their purpose. Guess what He did, he put confusion in their midst by altering their language making it impossible to communicate effectively and that was what stalled that mission forever.

Fast forward to today, we are in a time like no other in recent history when the people of the Eastern Region have devoid of bribe, enticement, and personal gains decided to fallout altogether for a particular mission; the emancipation of the Region. The people have never been so vocal, together and resolute, willing to lay down their lives for the course (this is the highest price that can be paid for value).

The odds are now high for the people of the Eastern region given that within this period in course of all the protests that have been carried out, incidents of Gross human rights violations, murders by security personnel, unlawful arrests, detention and the flagrant abuse of power have all been recorded on tape an are being used by the Biafrans to garner international support, sympathy and condemnation. This has led to the visiting to the country by International Criminal Court prosecutors and International Human rights commissions to carry out investigation on the allegations against Buhari and his uncouth security personnel. This has led to the unearthing of shallow graves dug by security agencies to cover up their atrocities against unarmed protesters.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the fearless one who undoubtedly portrays intrinsic attributes of great men like Martin Luther King Jr of blessed memory and Nelson Mandela also of blessed memory in his last arraignment told the puppet judge to her face how she is being used as a stooge or coerced to carry out the will of her pay master, reminding her that 'Buhari is mad to have thought that he can accuse him openly and try him secretly'. Only the fearless can go thus far. Certain things are in play already and of course they are not in the favor of the President. The President knows this, the judge knows it, Kanu knows it. No wonder several judges refused to try him.

It is evident that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is being held illegally and that illegality will be paid for by who ever is responsible. One begins to wonder why Orji Uzo Kalu first became a member of the APC, and in a matter of days paid Kanu a visit in Kuje prison. The child who says his mother would not sleep, him too wouldn't close the eyelid. It would be safe to say that the tables have started to turn around and that it would be clearer in a few months time whose court the ball is in.

In conclusion, Buhari restrained himself from further dent on his terrible democratic image by avoiding the trap of visiting Enugu. One this was sure to have happened, which is a massive protest of unarmed people blocking the road and keeping him stranded and embarrassed. The only option the old man would have had was to spray some live bullets against the people. Guess what, it would have hit CNN by this morning.

I believe our President Muhammadu Buhari is in a box. Long Live The Eastern Region.
