Scholarship Information

The scholarships are awarded to family members within the constituency who are accepted to an accredited College/University (School) or who are current students seeking support for completion of high school, degree seeking bachelors’ program or for vocational/career and technical education. Students who are currently enjoying any form of scholarship or selected for such elsewhere are not eligible. The scholarships are awarded based on character, leadership, potential for academic success, the importance of the scholarship to academic pursuit and financial need. The selection committee which shall consist of men of character drawn from constituent LGA’s of the Senatorial Zone shall score/screen all applications and select scholarship recipients. The selection process is non-discriminatory. The Committee Members immediate family is not eligible to apply.
Complete Application Packages must include the following (only complete packages will be considered)• Application form (completely filled out online)

• An official transcript of your school (as applicable) any College/Vocational School attended or result of previous years assessment duly signed by the Head Teacher of school with official seal.
• Letters of recommendation from (i) current or past teacher/employer of applicant. (ii) Political Ward/Community Leader (Village Head or Eze) and (iii) Local Government of Origin.
• Attach transcript and all other document listed above in an official envelope and submit to the Senator T.A Orji Constituency Office, 32 Ojike Street, Umuahia Abia State.
