The water to alcohol percentage in beer is probably like 90 to 10 or 95 to 5 sef.. so in the absence of ordinary water or other extinguishers, the beer can be used as a temporary measure smiley ..... I am quite sure the excess water and other ingredients in the beer will almost totally neutralize the inflammability of the beer smiley

Accidents are caused. God help them. One safety tip may have been boycotted.

Sometimes it might be out of neglect for a safety protocol...other times, maybe a faulty equipment or something that was overlooked

Emm, i have experientially out of curiosity put out a fire with beer. I dont know the studies you carried out on beer specifically, but i'm a scientist too and i know 5%part by vol alcohol WILL NOT be considered anywhere near flammable. Here is someone else who has put out a fire with beer in case you assume i made my own story up http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/09/firefighter-puts-out-fire-beer-truck_n_4570896.html

Merry christmas all

Am sure they wont need to use precious beer to quench the fire. That Iganmu site has big fire hydrant Lines (34 points) at a high pressure of 6 bars. The problem I see is possible access to most of the Fire hydrant Lines due to the magnitude of the Fire and location.

Cover up what? You think modern day accounting uses paper records? The records are electronic and accessible from a cloud. It can be accessed by approved officers of the company from any location.
