British singer George Michael died on Christmas day. His publicist, Cindi Berg, said he had not been ill but declined to give further details.

His biggest hit song for me was 'faith'.

Faith! I listened to that song when it was fresh from his oven
Looked for it many years later, found it, got it and deleted it
When I got to know George and I were parallels in our 'faith'

Next i got to see him alot in the DVD series i bought- Eli Stone

May he rest in peace. I hope he found peace and salvation in Jesus Christ

Still shocked. DM states he died "peacefully" in his sleep.


Update: According to the DM. It has been confirmed that he died of Heart failure. May his soul rest in peace. What a legend.

One of the best rock n roll songs. At a point in time, this and Labamba were my favourite rock songs. I used to play that riff on the guitar. The song also has one of the most unique beginnings (the organ music).

This was the song that introduced me to George Michael the solo artiste (I already knew him from WHAM and Wake Me Up).

Dave Lee Travis (DLT-A Jolly Good Show on the BBC) joked that Elton John was backstage and he didn't like what George Michael was doing to his song, so he came on stage to take over. (This song was originally done by Elton John in the 1970s).

This version was recorded at a concert in South Africa in 1991.
