A woman gives birth to Siamese twins also knowns as Conjoined Twins in Ebonyi State.

For the first time in the history of Ebonyi State, a woman gives birth to siamese twins.

Mrs. Agbo Josephine delivered the twins as stiil-birth on 17th December, 2016.

Reports gathered that the woman hails from Umuezeka Ngbo in Ohuaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.

The woman who had four children already could not be delivered at a maternity in her village where she had registered for ante-natal care.

When the delivery got complicated and the pregnancy was found to be more than one as the legs of the first twin had shown, the maternity forwarded her to St. Theresa’s hospital Abakaliki.

There, Dr. Chudi Egbuonu took the delivery of the dead twins through Caesarean Section.
