Infinix Zero 4 X574 Full Specifications; A Real Dream Phone by emmavis4u0052(m): 7:09pm On Dec 26, 2016
The Infinix Zero 4 X574 is undoubtedly the next flagship device for Infinix Mobility following the infinix zero 3 X552.
The Zero 3 was tagged “#hero3logy” so the Zero 4 will probably be called “#hero4logy” or something of such but that’s not what we are really concerned about.
The Zero 3 came with a very sophisticated spec sheet after much anticipation, what it had to offer at it’s price range was worth all the hypes and this time is the Zero 4’s to prove worthy of the hypes and anticipation.
Last quarter of the year is usually the time when most smartphone manufacturers release their flagships of the year and Infinix Mobility doesn’t want to be left out in the train. We have seen Tecno release some outstanding smartphones with great prices this year.
Code-named X574, the Zero 4 hosts quite a lot of advanced features of a recent day smartphone, the ones you would normally see in 2016 flagship smart phones.
Going spec-wise, the Infinix Zero 4 holds a standard 5.5 inches touchscreen made with IPS LCD panels. The display is in full HD and supports up to 16 million different colors, the screen has a display resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and 440 pixels per-square inch (ppi), it is protected from scratch and pressure by a Corning gorilla glass 4.
The Zero 4 has a little edge over the
Zero 3 in terms of screen. The predecessor used a 5.5 inches screen that was protected by a Corning gorilla glass 3 while the upcoming successor sets out with the latest and best screen protection available at the moment.
Security is also beefed up in the Infinix Zero 4, as it will feature a fingerprint scanner, a luxury that went missing in the Zero 3. The fingerprint scanner sits comfortably at the back of the device and can be used for unlocking the device, controlling app permissions and some other non security purposes.
The Infinix Zero 4 boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with the new and redefined Infinix XOS layered on top. As you might have already known, the XOS is a customized user interface by Infinix, we have seen some recent infinix phones like the Infinix Hot S and
Note 3 X601 make there way with this new UI, read more about the XOS here.
Under the hood, the infinix Zero 4 will be operating with one of the chipsets in MediaTek’s best series of chipsets – the Helio Chipsets. The one present in the Zero 4 is the MediaTek Helio X20 with Dual-core 2.3 GHz Cortex-A72 and quad-core 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 with a Graphics processing unit (GPU) of Mali 780. Zero lag will tolerated in the device with the above mentioned processors on-board.
Coming down to RAM and storage, the Infinix Zero 4 is witnessing yet another improvement over its predecessor. It will feature 4GB of RAM, compared to the 3GB offered by the previous device. This certainly makes the Zero 4 a great choice for gamers and heavy users, the device will come in two internal storage variants – 32GB and 64GB(Which will be called the Zreo 4 Plus) with the option to further expand it to up to 2TB using a memory card if the buyer can’t get enough off its storage space.
20.7MP camera will be on ground to handle the current mobile photography and selfie craze that is rapidly engulfing smartphone users in the recent times, the camera is coupled with a (first of its kind) triple LED flash light. At the front is an 8MP camera with soft flash to cater for the needs of selfie freaks.
4G network connectivity is beginning to look like a must-have for new smartphone releases and Infinix Zero 4 X574 is of course, not left out here. Other connectivity options basically remains the same, thus, a Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Hotspot, WiFi direct with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB reverse connector. The device is dual micro SIM based with dual standby.
A 4,000 mAh battery is housed to keep the lights on for as long as you want, this will provide just enough day-to-day energy for the upcoming device. Considering the device is running based on the XOS that is said to reduce battery consumption rate by 30%, the Zero 4 buyers will definitely get enough on-time from a single charge. The device also supports fast charge technology.
Differences between the Zero 3 and the New Zero 4.
There are few but significant differences between the two phones.
To start with, the Zero 4 uses a more generous 4GB RAM while a not-bad-at-all 3GB RAM can be found in the Zero 3, going by their names, maybe Zero 5 will have a 5GB RAM… Lol, just saying though.
Another highlighted difference was spotted in the battery region of the two phones, the Zero 3 is powered by a 3,030 mAh battery but the Zero was graced with a juicier 4,000 mAh battery.
While the screen resolution and screen size of the duo remains the same, the screen protection was slightly altered with the Zero 4 having a stronger Corning Gorilla 4 screen while the Zero 3 uses the Gorilla glass 3, leaving us with another difference to deal with.
There are also some minor differences in the Camera and OS regions where the Zero 4 sports Android 6.0 marshmallow with XOS but Zero 3 runs Android 5.1 lollipop.
Meanwhile, the XOS has been made available for Zero 3 and some other Infinix phones, see how to upgrade your infinix phone here .
Obviously, there will also be a difference in their price tags, the Zero 4 will certainly arrive with nothing close to cheap.
