There are times we look at life and we conclude that there is nothing to give thanks for.

That moment when man works like an elephant and gets the reward of an ant.

That moment when those dreams are already coming to pass and like vapour, it vanishes.

That moment when tears of pains are like companion and no hope in sight for redemption, of a truth, man can decide that there is no reason to give thanks.

Come to think of this,

You sleep and wake everyday, yet every moment, the grave consumes the man that has all.

The same route you trek or take public transport every day, some go through same route with the best rides and end up six feet below.

For your good health, some are willing to pay to have it, even some don't even know when they would be discharged from the hospital, when we shall be shouting happy new year in few days time, some won't be able to.

in all, think deep and understand that where you think your problem is at its peak is where some people's issues start from.

Put those problems aside, and give thanks to God despite all.
