The availability of the belt is to save you time on the road, what if Mr mechanic have to go to the spare part shop to get a fan belt when yous car is broken down in a forest far away from the nearest market? Maybe the mechanic should just sit in your bonnet using a hand fan to cool down your engine as you drive..lol

FRSC fighting hard to be relevant by all means. From New plate number that can be used to track criminals( no statistics yet on how many criminals caught yet ) to New Drivers license too hard to get making millionaires of some officials and touts
From Tire life span reader so confusing to read even to FRSC officials themselves, to Speed limiting device for commercial vehicles. someone is just sitting in his Air Conditioner Office busy devising new method to be relevant and make more money to his pocket than the safety of the people

How about cash to settle them when they climb into your car and refuse to leave.

Like they really come to your aid when you are stranded on the road. The only relationship they have with motorist is to ask for bribe.
