MrBrighto: exactly. even his 'if e no be God' is a club banger. I even feel his 2016 was better than his 2015. 1 Like |

Op haba! If Dbanj didn't have a good 2016, U can as well say Davido/Wizkid, Flavour did not have a good year as well which is untrue. D, banj's emergency was a massive hit as you rightly said, how then can you say he did not make a strong impact musically since d breakup? That's a contradiction in itself. Dbanj also featured in a lot of European tours like in Uk this year, and has been in the news for positive reasons a lot of times this year. I think Dbanj had a successful year based on the above. Including him in there therefore suggests a biased and unobjective opinion from your side. 1 Like |

But most of these artistes are already old in the industry, you don't expect them to still be very consistent right now especially when we have younger and hotter artistes Doing well. Dbanj should not be in lists like this anymore. He's in a stage where he doesn't have to stress himself that much with dropping songs. What more do you want to hear from him again? Since 2006? Haba! 1 Like 1 Share |

If you think D’banj didn't "shine" last year (2016) then you're out of you f*ucking mind! You're probably a radical don jazzy fan who doesn't want to let go the defunct Mo'hits. D'banj produces quality music not quantity. Check these out; D’banj – Emergency https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T4HxfUavtA D’banj – Focus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW-DhUxJLyM |

what exactly is your definition of shine OP? do you know what their goals for the year 2016 was and if not releasing any major album while working on other projects was the focus? Shining is subjective Mr! |
