The Bible mentions six specific people who committed suicide: Abimelech ( Judges 9:54 ), Saul ( 1 Samuel 31:4 ), Saul’s armor-bearer ( 1 Samuel 31:4-6 ), Ahithophel ( 2 Samuel 17:23 ), Zimri ( 1 Kings 16:18 ), and Judas ( Matthew 27:5 ).
will they make heaven?

First God will not allow us be tempted beyond what we can bear. (1 cor 10:13).So there's no need for suicide

As for punishment, do not forget that God is greater than our hearts and he knows all things (1 John 3:20)

We are not Heaven's gatekeepers...lol

I also contemplated suicide but this thought prevented me.

Anyone who dies in sin (without repentance) cannot make heaven. The question then is, did those who commit suicide (self-murder) have opportunity to repent before dying? The answer is a NO.
