The Gabon forward does not have any possessions with him ahead of the tournament after his belongings were lost in transit prior to the African Player of the Year awards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not a happy man! The Borussia Dortmund striker is set to represent Gabon in the Africa Cup of Nations over the next month and has subsequently flown out to the African Player of the Year awards ceremony that is set to precede the tournament. However, far from being decked out in a fancy suit and tie, Aubameyang has been left in a t-shirt and a cap after his luggage was lost in transit! The 27-year-old, who has scored 20 goals in 22 games for Dortmund so far this season, took to Instagram to update his followers on the embarrassing turn of events, writing: "That moment when you just arrive for the ceremony of african player of the year and they lost our baggage!! so that's how we dress tonight. Thanks Lufthansa." A photo posted by Aubameyang (@aubameyang97) on Jan 5, 2017 at 10:32am PST Aubameyang has been nominated for the award, along with Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez and Liverpool's Sadio Mane.
