Why are our pastors always talking talking talking about things that are so unrelated to the gospel they were ordained to proclaim and always and aiming to praise themselves and attach achievements to their names.

Why are you gutless clowns always so quick to criticize those bold enough to speak out?

What a shallow way of reasoning? You think Pastors do not have life outside the gospel. And what da hell is wrong with pastors and men of god speaking about the state of the nation? Use your head

This agreement was the social contract upon which the Nigerian state was formed. This social contract was broken on May 24, 1966 through the Unification Decree by Gen. J.T.U. Aguiyi-Ironsi’s administration.

Okay pastor, but join the govt and let's see how you implement this "long- grammar" agenda without hitch, like Pmb is facing now.

He made some senses tho

They all make sense when they are 'outside' the govt.

Even Buhari made alot of sense calling for restructuring when he was outside the govt. He became the President and forgot.

We all hear Atiku too singing the same song

"Politicians are hypocrites."- Tupac

Atiku's case is so childish and immature. How does he plan to achieve the so called restructuring since he as the president will not be accorded absolute power to do that? He should just simply change his campaign slogan possibly to dishing out 24/7 electricity

Restructuring is the starting point for growth and solution to all our problems as a country. it will happen if the country will continue to co exist. I implore the present crop of leaders to see beyond the present. Corruption is prevalent because the present structure supports it. Underdevelopment is seen everywhere because the present structure supports it. I subscribe to the zonal structure been proposed by pastor Bakare because 36 state true federalism is not sustainable. But the zones can exist on there own and make contributions to the centre. Is the only way to go. This present leaders should write their names in gold by initiating and finalizing the working of this restructuring. Militancy, corruption , underdevelopment, insecurity and other economic problems are attributable to this structure. Is lame n proving to be unsustainable. Where a government have to wait for federal to pay his salaries and continue borrowing to finance project without a tangible repayment plan unless if allocation improve is a waste. we are actually practicing socialism with the structure of federalism. It can't fit in. No wonder we have a society that is difficult to describe. Tell me which sector is truly productive. None! Oil sector was benefiting from fluctuations In the international market and we were squandering all the goodies. I can go on and on, but the point is we must restructure. The north is afraid because they don't have oil. Not realizing that many countries don't have oil but they are still well off. Oil is not the basic need of man. The basic need of man is food, cloth and shelter. Which they have the means in abundance. oil only aid movement which is transportation. Is secondary. With the level of consciousness in the north and their religious Orientation I dare say the north is more likely to be more stable and prosperous than the south in the restructured Nigeria.

God bless you Pastor! Restructuring into six regions is the hard way, the only way! Any other arrangement is dead on arrival! Period!

The best solution is for everybody to go his own way. There's no way on earth that a country with multiple ethnicity and different religious beliefs will work. Britain understands it and that's why they exited EU, but Africans are so intellectually blind that they can't see

As good as he sounds he didn't say anything new outside what we've been saying before now on the need for restructuring.

However his: "May 2017 be the year we look into the future with the eyes of faith and take steps to accomplish all that we know is possible" is what we'll await to see.

Pls keep your ranting of a sermon to yourself, Mr. Tunde Bakare. Has your friend (Bubu) blocked you from accessing him?

Go and preach (abi sey na address) to the devil you helped enthrone in Aso Rock. You call yourself a pastor and yet have nothing to say against the genocide of Christians in Southern Kaduna on a Sunday when CAN called for a memorial service in honour of those persecuted Christians. Why would you speak against an act thst was orchestrated and approved by your friends (El Rufai & Buhari). God is too merciful or how can one explain a shepherd (Pastor) who looks the other way while the enemies are after the sheep?

And I pity souls that still listen to this man's talk as Sunday sermons. What makes this different from a Soyinka's talk? Gone are the days I looked forward to watching you on channels @ 5pm Sunday.

Just look at yourself.

Pastors should be involved in national leadership. These men and women have great influence over thousands of members. Who best to address them on the grassroot level other than pastors whom they meet every week?

Young man, just stick to romance section.

Dear Pastor, with all due respect sir you helped brought this pain on us, you supported this government maybe because you were bought over or maybe you were moved by the holy spirit to support him, which made you to publicly deface Goodluck even on sunday service during your sermons on top your 'holy alter'.

Months after the election on seeing the 'change' you sorted and campaigned for, silence became your watch-word, i am sure it was because of shame.

Good a thing now you support a 'RESTRUCTURED NIGERIA', thank you sir for that, the only way NIGERIA can be restructured is by practising 'TRUE FEDERALISM', if you support the restructuring of Nigeria please sir tell Mr. Buhari to start putting the interest of Nigerians in mind on his decision making process.

I quite agree with most of the things you wrote but you left out a vital part, prior to campaigning against Jonathan, this man was on the road protesting and fighting the Yar'dua Cabal on behalf of Jonathan without collecting a kobo. It is also on record that when he visited the villa he was offered $25,000 as transport fare which he totally rejected.

So Tunde Bakare didn't just wake up one day to campaign against Jonathan, he had a choice, a choice given By God and backed by our constitution and nobody can blame him for using his power of choice.

However, it is yet to demonstrate the audacity and courage required to address the foundations of the Nigerian problem. A critical factor that will determine the success or failure of the government and its plans. That factor is the restructuring of our nation. The inquisitive may ask: “Why must we restructure?” We must restructure to correct the flaws in our federal system.

Our founding fathers agreed that Nigeria would be “a truly federal state with limited & specific powers allocated to the federal government. This agreement was the social contract upon which the Nigerian state was formed. This social contract was broken on May 24, 1966 through the Unification Decree by Gen. J.T.U. Aguiyi-Ironsi’s administration.

Today, we have 36 Ministries and 36 Commissioners for Education which, consume a huge chunk of the limited education budget. Imagine how much we could save with six efficient and effective ministries in education and other relevant socioeconomic sectors. These 36 states should, become districts headed by Mayors within the framework of 6 geopolitical zones.

I am inclined to a zonally structured governance system... Let the Nigerian people decide. For us at the Latter Rain Assembly, we have accepted responsibility for our nation and that is why we do what we do. As watchmen over our nation, we are propelled by our God-given vision of the New Nigeria, a nation on a journey to oneness and greatness. We seek Nigeria’s transition from 36 states to 6 geopolitical zones that will become harbingers of a united nation.

It is time to build a well-ordered nation with strong institutions dispensing justice. It is time to arise with patriotic zeal to build a great nation such that. May 2017 be the year we look into the future with the eyes of faith and take steps to accomplish all that we know is possible.

"Thank you for listening; God bless you, and God bless Nigeria."

And who told you Britain would be better off outside the EU. Diversity and multiculturalism is normal. There is diversity in UK,SS Nigeria,SE Nigeria, SW Nigeria. The same diversity you are running from you would certainly meet it when if you finally form your own country-infact your differences would become more magnified because there wouldn't be an Hausa or Igbo or Yoruba to blame again but you would start turning on yourselves. We need to respect and appreciate differences, see it as something divine. We've seen the Ife Modakeke crisis we've seen the Orji Kalu of Abia against all other Igbos. We know there are still class systems even within our tribes. So the question is how Isolated do you want to be? How would you feel when another Igbo man or Yoruba man segregates you because you are not from the same village even though you are from the same state. If you think Isolation is the solution to Multiculturalism I wish you well. But know one thing even in your culture there is multiculturalism.
