I can see most people do not even understand what has happened here. I think Nnamdi Kanu is enjoying life in Kuje that is why he is delaying the proceedings of his own case.

Nnamdi Kanu's team is challenging the veracity of some of the charges against him so the judge has to suspend the substantive suit.

If the judge finds that the charges are well put together, substantive suit AKA "secret trail" will resume.

No big news here.

Any which way, Kanu must surpass Nelson Mandela's record of 27years imprisonment.

He has served less than 2years and already anxious to leave Kuje.

Who enjoys Kuje prison? Do you know the effect of confinement on mental state? Can't you tell from his look before/after detention? That guy is losing it at a fast pace and your comment is just a personal consolation to shy away from the truth.

You are right my brother only that Mandela was not captured on top of oloshos in a rundown hotel with a fake name grin grin
Awo was quickly released because Gowon would have gone for it, they cannot afford to kill him like a chicken as they killed a flatron, Aguyi Ironsi

Come to think of it, who lodges in a "rundown" hotel with a "hanger-on" in his real name in all honesty?

Be that as it may, for lodging in a hotel with fake id, is identity theft and impersonation amongst the charges brought up against him other than the widespread terrorism and felony charges?

WHY BUHARI CANNOT WIN THE CASE AGAINST NNAMDI KANU IN ANY COURT OF LAW: EVEN GOING BY THE PRIMITIVE STANDARDS OF THE NIGERIAN LEGAL SYSTEM
1. There seems to be a misconception within the Nigerian judiciary, either through ignorance or deliberate omission, that self determination is tantamount to treason or treasonable felony. (A copy of the United Nations Charter will resolve this issue)
2. The history of Nigeria is replete with acts bothering on treasonable felony and actual acts of treason itself. Failed coups and attempted coups fall within this category. Nnamdi Kanu is a freedom fighter unlike those that overthrew democratically elected government. Example is the coup of 1983 that saw the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as the then Head of State.
3. "Actus Reus and Mens Rea" .
What date was this alleged treason committed? How can you charge somebody of a serious crime such as treasonable felony without a date? In which planet will a court entertain such a case? Sorry only in Nigeria. What type of charge is that? It's very obvious that the government of Buhari misunderstood or failed to interpret the provision of the Rights of the Indigenous People.
4. To commit treasonable felony, there has to be guns "available ". The word to note is available not conjecture or imagined but real. The two licensed Dane guns (double barrel) recovered from the premises of Benjamin Madubugwu is hardly assault weapons or container load of weapons and peddled by Yoruba media.
5. Where did this meeting to overthrow the government of the present APC Government take place? Again a critical ingredient in establishing prima facie.
6. The agitation for Biafra by IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu predates the coming of the present administration. Jonathan was intelligent enough not to arrest Kanu. The only difference between Jonathan's government and that of Buhari is that the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu by Buhari's over zealousness is what triggered the resurgence all over the world.
7. Had Daura of DSS released Nnamdi Kanu when the court of first instance per Hon. Shuaibu granted him bail, we won't be here today. When they also failed to obey the order of Justice Ademola to release him unconditionally that enraged the civilised world and triggered the unprecedented global agitation we have today.
BUHARI SHOULD OBEY COURT ORDER AND STOP SHOWCASING HIS POWER DRUNK MENTALITY

You do not understand the dilemma Buhari has found himself

1) Release Kanu and he will be on the streets of Biafra campaigning vigorously for Biafra unlike when he was in London

2) Convicting him is impossible because he has right to campaign for self determination

3) Kill him and war will erupt that will breakup Nigeria

The truth is that, Buhari made same mistake like Hitler when he attacked Russia

Hitler found out early in his war against Russia that he couldn't sue for peace or win the war but to delay his irreversible destruction.

Next time, people like Buhari should think before they act.
