It was this fixture last season that spelt the end for José Mourinho at Chelsea as Leicester returned to top spot in a sign of things to come. Thirteen months on and the normal order has been restored as Leicester languish in the bottom half and Chelsea lead the way, yet Claudio Ranieri’s side have a chance to upset the apple cart. Jamie Vardy returns for Leicester after recovering from illness, with Nathan Aké set to replace the suspended John Terry in Chelsea’s squad. Diego Costa's Chelsea future is said to be in doubt after reports of a 'blazing row' between the Spain international and manager Antonio Conte. MailOnline Sport report that the 28-year-old has fallen out with Conte over what he believes to be a lower back injury, which could be tied to his long-term hamstring issues; but the club's medical staff has cast doubt over the veracity of his injury claims. The Italian is said to have backed his physios over their concerns, leading to the row between player and manager; with reports that the former Atletico Madrid man's representatives are sounding out a possible move to the Chinese Super League. Costa has not travelled with his teammates to Leicester ahead of Saturday's game, with the Telegraph reporting that his absence is related to the argument rather than a current injury - leaving the club shorn of their leading man in a match which they hope will see them get back to winning ways in the Premier League. Blues officials were said to be putting together a new contract to offer Costa in the coming weeks or months, but the antagonism between him and his manager - in a setup which demands togetherness from all parts - have thrown that into doubt. With 14 goals and five assists in 19 Premier League games this season, Costa has continued to be one of Chelsea's most valuable assets; particularly when considering the lack of faith Conte appears to have in backup option Michy Batshuayi - yet to start a league game for the club since his summer move. 1 Like |

After the loss to Tottenham Hotspur, the drive and eagerness has dwindled somehow. But it is good to be back. The game against Leicester won't be a stroll in the park. Infact, the loss to Tottenham which was the culmination of a series of poor displays over the last 6matches( though we won five but the quality of our play was questionable) will do alot for the confidence of Leicester coupled with the new defensive midfield signing ie Wilfred Ndidi. Costa to miss the game after a burst up with Coach Conte. I have been a strong advocate for Michy Batsuayi so I hope he gets to spearhead the attack tomorrow. I have also not been impressed with the quality of Marcos Alonso and I hope returnee Nathan Ake will get his big moment tomorrow. More to come as the game draws closer. But my final advice to the coach is to begin to try out alternative formations and also shuffle his team every once in a while as the current 3-4-3 and starting 11, are becoming highly predictable. |

I would prefer Pedro up front with partners from willian and harzard. Then Batshuayi should be brought in 2nd half. Whichever way Chelsea should have a comfortable win. |

optional1: Baby, as it stands now, we need Costa. He's currently the best striker in the epl and one of the best in the world. his goals has constantly brought our wins and besides we dont have any replacements for him. We'll win this (me trying to be as optimistic as possible) but we dont need any type of drama now at all, u know what happened the last time the dressing room wasnt in order. hopefully, this will be settled asap. No diego today..... Costa is been offered $700,000/week from a chinese club. We can always still win without him but we will miss him though. |
