My records indicate that Sir Olateru-Olagbegi, II (1910 - 1998) the long-reigned Oba of Owo was knighted by Her Majesty, The Queen in 1960 You may want to confirm this claim from Wikipedia This is addition to your list of Nigerians that were knighted |

While at those Nigerians that have been honoured with knighthood, the name of Sir Tadeniawo Adesoji Aderemi, (1889 - 1980) comes readily to mind. His name seems not to have been included in your list! He reigned as the Ooni of Ife for 50 years (1930 - 1980) He was the first indigenous Governor of the Western Region
