Who sent who??
Nzeogwu was cautioned severally on the dangerous missions he undertook but he seemed to turn a deaf ear to the Biafran army HQ recommendations...that day he died, he was together with Tom biggar who was Ojukwus brother.
The two men, nzeogwu and biggar died in the Wushishi led Federal ambush that day July 26,1967

In any case, whoever undertook the task of leading the "Biafran Liberation Force" on the Midwest Invasion and push to Lagos was on a suicide mission. Nzeogwu and tom Biggar have something in common; 2 men whom Ojukwu could do without.

Fact is, many in the hierarchy knew a coup was in the offing; many just didnt realize they would be victims. These senior soldiers (non-Igbo that is) didn't realize the coup they'd heard rumors about wasn't going to be about a united military takeover.
ok I see. they thought it wouldn't be igbo coup.

Yorubas won't stop hyping themselves themselves over a traitor called Banjo

Ojukwu was just been smart but only by halves. He sent Banjo ahead of his ibo tribe to go and bring mayhem on his (Banjo's) people. Every yoruba kid surely remembers the story of Alimi and afonja but Ojukwu a supposedly student of history thought Banjo will fall for his "Trojan horse" strategy.

It was a suicidal mission and Banjo knew it. Anyway, Obasanjo refused to give banjo a free ride into yoruba land. Moreover, what is the guarantee that once Banjo had taken lagos , Ojukwu would not have had him killed by one of his ibo people following him (as he had planned for Ejoor, unbeknown to banjo at the time of the midwest invasion) thereby taken over the whole of southern nigeria?

Ojukwu sang the song of Biafra but his actions clearly was the take-over of the whole of southern nigeria. Typical impish, covetous and greedy modaxxxxx.

They killed many people but did not kill just one of their own ethnic group.

They tried to recolonize nigeria.
