The flyover at Osiosioma when entering Aba from portharcourt expressway where you have a road above and a railway below and it is close to Alaoji power plant and a popular Church called "Pool of Bethsaida" .. Please Oga Governor , is that one not a flyover? or is it called jump over, run over or fly under? Abeg go and pay workers especially teachers and lecturers their over six months salary and stop lying over elephant project that cannot be completed in your eight years in office. Pay workers especially teachers and lecturers so that we can resume lectures again

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will this friday,January 20, 2017 perform the ground breaking ceremony of the OSISIOMA FLYOVER, the FIRST EVER FLYOVER IN ABIA STATE.

The flyover which is designed to cover the areas around the Osisioma Junction in Aba will ease traffic flow on the Enugu PH Express way, making it smooth for travelers who have no plan to drive into Aba to continue their journey on the expressway.

Since the creation on Abia State 25 years ago, indeed, since the creation of the Old Imo State in 1976, no such project has ever been undertaken by any government.

Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is doing it.

This is a welcome development. Thanks to Mr Governor.
Pls help me remind him that something really need to be done urgently along PH Road Aba that has been abandoned by the previous administrations. The importance of that road which currently not motorable to the economic activities in Aba cannot be over emphasized.
This is the road that everyone coming to various markets in the city of Aba from Rivers and Bayelsa states ply through. The abandonment of this major road has really affected the economic activities between these states. Even though it's regarded as Federal road but, no sensible government will abandone the road that aid the economy of its state for Fg. Pls let him do something about this road.(i.e. from Ngwa Road junction to flyover).

Abia state has the become the black sheep of southern Nigeria.

Apart from Osun, i wonder which other state is doing worse than Abia.


Very sad development if you consider that Aba in particular was the flag ship of development in souther Nigeria after Lagos and Port Harcourt. Just wonder how it all went so wrong for Abia state.

Just imagine a governor talking about flyover while his teachers refuse to resume school becos he is owing them 6months salary . And somebody here is applauding the governor for this kangaroo project that will not see the light of the day and it's money channelled to his paymaster as compensation for the month. Save your applause for the Project when it is completed if it will ever be.... Our eastern governors are the worst and most terrible governors in the nation.

The flyover is located on Port harcourt-Aba expressway. If u are driving towards Aba from PH not too far after u have passed the power station by ur left. I am not from Abia state so i am not sure if that place is Osissioma or Ugwunabo. The truth is that the road there is so terrible that i would excuse anyone who doesn't notice the existence of that flyover. That said, i don't think that the governor there should be thinking of building a flyover at this time when he is owing civil servants over 5 months salaries and pensioners over 15 months pensions arrears. Is he building the flyover over those terrible roads to transport dying civil servants and pensioners to the world beyond?

You have to understand that Abia state is so backward that the natives there call it flyover, which is why i also did same in order not to embarass a fellow igbo state on social media.

We offered APGA to Abians as a way out of their slavery but they chose to stick with bondage.
