Policeman Murders Two Innocent Kids In Ibadan Hospital by obailala(m): 4:50pm On Nov 26, 2009
IBADAN — A POLICEMAN attached to Iyaganku Central Police Station, Ibadan went beserk Wednessday, following the death of his child at Oni Memorial Children Hospital, and sprayed tear gas into the ward  leaving other children on admission at the time on danger list.

The name of the policeman was given as Mr. Raymond Egbongbonwuyi, and one of the sources at the hospital said he had service number 303529.

He was said to have been disturbed by the death of his three-year-old daughter who was taken to the hospital on Tuesday but died later that day after doctors battled fruitlessly to save her life.

When the policeman allegedly got to the hospital where the tragic story of his daughter was relayed to him, he allegedly removed all the drips being used to treat five other children in the hospital and sprayed them with the tear gas that he had on him,
After satisfying his quest for vengeance on the innocent babies he was said to have descended on the doctors, beating them mercilessly.

It was sheer providence that the policeman was not armed with a rifle as he allegedly told the doctors and the nurses that they should thank their stars that he was not armed, else he would have shot all of them dead.

Three of the children were still being revived with the help of oxygen by the doctors at press time. Their names are Ekundayo Promise, Lawal Awal and Lawal Mariam.

The mobile policeman who was attached to the Iyaganku Central Police Station was said to have lost another child penultimate week in similar circumstances in another hospital.

According to an impeccable source at the hospital, the daughter of the policeman, Destiny Raymond was diagnosed of severe malaria, chest infection and burns and was treated for respiratory disorder.

Vanguard gathered that policemen from the Oluyole Police Division came to the rescue of other children in the government owned hospital.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adisa Bolanta told Vanguard that the affected policeman had been arrested but said none of the children has died.
