Focus: The Day of God's Vengeance

WORD FOR TODAY
Living in peace to having success in every endeavour in life begins with knowing and living with the consciousness that God is the God of vengeance!!!

Scriptural Reference
"For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, The year of recompense for the cause of Zion." (Isaiah 34:8 NKJV).

In whatever you do in life be ever mindful of the fact that God is watching and He is a God that always fight the course of both the powerless and the helpless.

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hand of the Almighty God. Who will deliver a man from God's hand? When God resists a man who will help him? and when He is willing to defend a man and fight on His behalf who can resist Him?

Don't take advantage of someone weakness, ignorance or needs. Don't play God in any domain you find yourself. Keep reminding yourself that you will always be answerable to God over your deeds and that He is a God who pays every man according to what he sows in every aspect of life.

Don't be eaten up by the fact that there is no immediate consequence of what you do to others. The Lord is patiently waiting for the day of vengeance; that is why at a point, He says His reward is with Him to give to everyone according to what he has done be it good or bad.

Also, allow God to fight and plead your course. It is not an act of weakness when a man allows God to fight on his behalf; in the actual fact, it is the most effective approach to fighting life's battle without having wounds.

+ What have you done so far in life that can incur God's wrath and vengeance upon your life?

Prayer Point:
Lord! I receive the grace to always live to please you and never to incur your wrath in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Beware of your actions toward men; God is a God of vengeance!!!
