When I upgraded my modem, my modem could not find etisalat until I re-upgraded it again. Now it see's all networks

hmmn, was looking for this thread. recently acquired this modem thingy, though i was told i had to write an exam, bring passport photo and probly need a visa just to give mtn my money!!! cwazy twats.

pls o, 1st question the model is E156G huawei, av unlocked it and found that i simply couldnt use glo on it! i mean, i wanted to buy glo but was told by them that they out of stock! now even as the modem is unlocked, Glo wont dial up! the sim is activated for all and sundry, wats up with that?

2ndly, i put in etisalat sim and it just did not see the network? is that the case too?

3rdly, i sorta noticed that at times, i dial up and it works for like 5 mins then the browsers and apps start complaining that im not connected to a network! yet its still connected! other times like now, its been ok for like 5 hrs! whats up with that too?


in short is this usual? have u guys experienced this before, and any solutions? before i carry horn begin they shepe for mtn

@4ller.Just return the modem and ask for another one.Mine works with all network o.But just be very careful when it comes to the profile name,bcoz if i use any how profile name it won't just connect.my own modem connect with glo using this profile Name:"Glo" whereas zain connect with "ZAIN@" etc any alteration on that profile name i will get"LIST INDEX OUT OF BOUNDS (-1073741515) Error.Cheers

then pls the files in my screenshot, they are the files in the modem, can u pls help me with copies of urs, i think the ones in my modem have been castrated by an antivirus program. the Resetdevice, Datacard setup and the sysconfig. i cant use them. when i click on them it does nothing. but the modem worked fine at the start and i think the turning point is the encounter with one USB vaccine program like that.

Though i use a glo modem and it is very fast and reliable just that they (glo) Bleep up with service atimes

MTN huwaie nodems no dey connect glo, its only there ZTE modems that works,

not all modem connects glo. so far Hauwei E1550 & E160G connect glo. some others connect too but not all.

I have a problem with my zain 3G modem. I unlocked the modem and it can only connect with Etisalat now.
Whenever i put MTN, Zain or Glo it keep on saying: Error 619: A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed

I want to use my zain or MTN coz Etisalat is not stable in my area. I have tried everything i could but to no avail. Please i will appreciate any suggestion or advise.
