Hi Y'all,

The MTN Fastlink 3G Data Modem has dropped from N8,500 and is now going for N5,500. A friend of mine who I directed to their Customer Care Centre at Opebi- Allen just got one there yesterday for that price.

I was surprised cos I had told him it was N8500 and he had gone to their customer care centre at the E-Centre, Yaba and Bode Thomas, Surulere on Monday and Tuesday respectively only to be told there were no modems and the only place he could get was at their Ikoyi HQ. Even then the C.C Agents had told him it was N8,500.

I then told him to try their Allen C.C Centre _{[s](that there is a CC agent/dealer who sells it within the premises for N9000 in connivance with the Gate/security Men and that he may have)[/s]} since he said Ikoyi was too far for him so he went there on Wednesday and still there were no modems but he was given a number by one of the C.C Agents & told to call the next day to confirm availability before coming back again. So he called Yesterday (Thursday) Morning and was told they were now available and he went there expecting to get it for N8,500 but was pleasantly surprised when he was told it was now N5,500.

So if you've being wanting to get a modem, now is the perfect time so hurry go get yours now. Just go with 2 passport photographs, a drivers licence/National I.D Card (an ID card sha) and like 3 month bills (PHCN/Water etc)

He brought the modem for me to unlock Yesterday and he showed me the receipt which I have snapped to show you guys here.

Just lyk I thot. . . cuz I told some1 few days back that it'd drop this season.

which model sef? . . 3.6mb or 7.2 ?

Where you wan take get MTN Fastlink 7.2mbps modem now? Dragnet, na the 3.6mbps modem and it was an old model (E1550G) that my guy got. . . the type that is opened at the back to put the sim unlike mine (E156G) and later models which are front loaded.

The modem nor come with any jara like USB cable or hand-tag sef

Lol, that my guy nor even know se something like 7.2mbps modem dey sef. To him modem na modem as na phone (N95-8Gb) im be dey use as modem before.

In fact, the guy just dey tell me se the thing dey connect like fire and difference between modem and phone used as modem na 7up

He said he asked and he was told it'd still be the same thing that they're just changing the design and outlook of the modem. More like repackaging an old wine in a new bottle lolz
