Weeks after controversial pyramid scheme MMM Nigeria gave way, placing the financial life of thousands of people in chaos, a similar programme has emerged, calling itself "MMM Naija."

Promising a return of 50% of staked funds for participants, MMM Naija doesn't appear to be founded by Sergey Mavrodi, the convicted Russian fraudster who created MMM Nigeria and a host of others.

A message on the homepage of MMM Naija describes the programme as,

...the only thing that can break the financial chains, release us from continuous slavery, and save us all. The Fed will be expunged from power, and they will no longer be able to cultivate social inequality. The banks as we know them will simply disappear.

Good luck to people who are still going to lose their money to this one.
