I want to call on the attention of Mr President, Minister of Education and the various agencies vested with the power to fight corruption cases to please come to the aid of staff of Federal University of Petroleum resources. Since the Vice Chancellor, prof Akii Ibadodhe came to Fupre, the staff have experienced from one salary cut to another. First, it was 15%, then 6.5% and finally 5.5%. This has been going on since October 2014. Last year December, we heard that money was released by Federal government to pay staff their promotion arrears, incremental steps, and several other allowances, but the Vice chancellor and the governing council chairman been led by Senator Amange Bariga has connived together to under pay staff. Some staff who are supposed to receive close to 500k are being paid less than 120k. I therefore call on Efcc, Icpc and other bodies to swig into action to investigate the Vice Chancellor and members of Council.Mod please let this get to Front page.
