Abraham ran; Jacob ran... ; Moses ran from Pharaoh; Elijah ran from Jezebel and Ahab, the Apostles ran; Jesus withdrew from his attackers until the appointed time... Persecutions and the attendant conspiracy of silence from the ruling quarters will not abate. Christians must take a retreat and change the garb of lukewarmness. This may be the worst time to be indifferent.
From the days of yore, all demonic despots against Christianity were routed not by human power nor might but by the Spirit (Moses, Elijah, Hezekiah, Jehoshaphat, Nehemiah, Gideon, the Apostles and now the church). You may consult emperor Constantine for more credence.
This too will come to pass, the damned gates of hell will NEVER prevail against the church of Christ.
