President Sall of Senegal has just bid farewell to President Barrow of Gambia who is returning to Gambia for the first time after his swearing-in.The President is set to fly Senegalese Airforce plane to Gambia. What took him so long. I thought he would be hungry to deliver dividend of democracy to his people. The country had suffered a good 22 years of dictatorship. Anyways, may be he wanted to be sure that Jammeh's snipers are off their positions. Jammeh on the other hand should have left when the ovation was loudest. Look at Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar, he left with with almost our vault but he is still very respected till today. 9 Likes |
