Germany is now the most powerful and influential passport having ranked base on visa free and visa on arrival countries passport holders have access to. Countries like Sweden took second place while Singapore came behind Sweden with 157 Countries each.

On the other hand, Sweden ranks higher because out of 157 countries 123 out of these countries are entirely visa-free compared to that of Singapore which is 122.

The rankings are based on Visa free destinations and visa on arrival destinations though visa free destinations are ranked higher.

Freedom of movement.

The countries at the top have unfettered access to the developing countries while the they do not reciprocate the same.

I have come across articles written by Europeans living in other countries while calling themselves "stateless!". That is the epitome of the freedom of movement. But don't try it as an African. You risk being deported to any African country that the plane will first land.
