20-year-old Jarrod Bowen starts up front, while Oumar Niasse is handed a first start following his loan switch from Everton and fellow loanee Lazar Markovic is on the bench after joining from Liverpool.

Jose Mourinho says he takes every competition seriously and is desperate for Manchester United to reach the final of the EFL Cup.
