How convenient that while the Killings were going on, the muslim brethren didn't deem it necessary to condemn the killers or commiserate with the bereaved. But look how they came out all guns blazing with a deluge of mentions calling Audu names for daring to stand up for his people. What actually happened: Audu's driver's younger brother and 5 other school mates, all of them Christians, boarded a taxi to school in Gidan Waya. Unfortunately, the taxi driver (who's Fulani by the way) stopped halfway under the pretext of fixing his car engine. It was there the Fulani herdsmen ambushed and killed all six passengers, sparing only the driver. The driver then left the place soon after. Another driver watched as it happened and relayed the story to Audu, who then tweeted about it. Little did he know, it was the tweet that will force out all the shameless jihadists and their sympathizers who had hitherto been in hiding. They accused him of lying about the murder, citing no such incident took place. They even sent out an unsigned rejoinder purportedly published by the school refuting any loss of students lives. The question is, is Audu's driver's younger brother alive today? The funny thing is, Vanguard published the news on the 24th of January, but this prophetic rejoinder, which was published on the 23rd (a day before Vanguard carried the news), accused Vanguard of patronizing and perpetrating "insinuations".

kennygee: I knew right from time that the man is an unrepentant fanatic. I was surprised they fell for his gimmick. Isn't it funny that he could locate the Fulani herdsmen and pay them to stop the Killings (or to continue), but they become hard to find when they lay siege to helpless communities? vengertime: The hatred for the man wasn't even because he's from the Niger Delta or Christian. His crime is not being one of them. They hate anything that's not Fulani. Well they came all out against Audu yesterday. But Audu had the people with him. My people say Ezi afa ka ego ( good name is greater than Money). One of the reasons why the twitter campaign to condemn Audu failed was because the people that led the attack are known to have no fear of God, no shame and no character. They're known as cashtivists. They've sold their souls to satan himself for pitance. Thank God for internet and screen munch, because their trade of deceit and lies will end sooner than we even think. If they're wise, they should invest their money on other things now because their this their present career of selling lies wont last. |
