We present to you Sony music artiste and DMW head, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido. Over the years, the artiste has been involved in a handful of music plagiarism and copyright infringement ....


1) AYE / RUNTOWN - Aye dropped around the same time Runtown dropped gallardo featuring Davido..Both tracks were produced by Tspize and runtown and tspize appeared in the video for Aye.. The pattern, lyrics and delivery has been studied to be similar to run town's style.. lines like ' Emergency from the song is a strong reference to this fact bearing in mind that runtown featured in a track with same name a few months back..

2) GOBE/ Password - Following the release of his first album, Gobe was released... Shortly after release, controversy trailed the ownership of the song...Songwriter ,Password claimed he wrote the song.. At the end, the case was settled as the act was allegedly paid 500 hundred thousand for the track !!!

3) Skelewu/ Dammy krane - When the skelewu dance came out, Dammy krane challenged davido and claimed the dance shared striking resemblance with his gbetiti dance step... The two have settled and krane is now under davido's label.. An upcoming artist named slow flo also made claim to the dance step.

4) Dodo/Orezi - A particular producer once stated that dodo was originally an orezi track which was played to davido by kiddominant, orezi's producer.. . None of the two acts have confirmed or denied this accusations .. this was a time davido and orezi were close as seen in mcgalaxy nek unek song where he said " I call orezi say I don' land make we go club ""..


5) Gbagbe Oshi/General Pype - Shortly after the release of gbagbe oshi from his son of mercy ep, A leak version of the original by general pype was released with claims the track was bought for a million naira.

6) Return/Oritse Femi- The track Return was dubbed off Oritse femi Debe confirm track..The chorus is from oritse femi verse and speculations have been that oritsefemi owns the track.. His background vocals can be heard in the tail end of Davido's return.

7) Davido No visa / skuki - The beat for davido No visa was allegedly stolen from skuki....The duo ,Skuki also released a song on the same beat ..

Davido Skelewu Video - The 2nd video for skelewu directed by Mr moe musa was also stated to share similarities with one of LMFAO videos.....
