She is a keen user of social media, so it’s probably unsurprising that Rihanna has blurred the lines between pop star and politician, this week.


The chart-topper, 28, took to Twitter on Sunday in a scathing, personal rant against the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump , which will surely divide fans.
Criticising his controversial decision to implement a temporary ban on Muslim immigrants entering America, she posted: “Disgusted! The news is devastating! America is being ruined right before our eyes! What an immoral pig you have to be to implement such BS!!”

Unsurprisingly, the virtue-signalling tweet was ‘liked’ more than 250,000 times and re-tweeted by more than 120,000 fans.
One simpatico fan replied: “Preach baby girl!!!!” while another added: “THANK YOU for using your platform to bring awareness to this injustice!!! I love you and respect you so much”.

But not everybody was so impressed by her outburst. One responded: “Awareness? LMFAO. Obama did the same thing in 2011! Oh the injustice!”, while another added: “I agree with Rihanna, but she wears real animal fur so I’m disgusted by her too!”.

A third commented: “How is calling POTUS an immoral pig supposed to bring awareness to anything, other than being a vulgar?”.
Not that Rihanna is the first – or last – celebrity to wade into the furore. Kim Kardashian West also tweeted her 49.8 million followers with statistics on the likelihood of Americans being killed by an immigrant jihadist.

What exactly does she know about politics, Hm? The way I see it - it's infuriating for foreigners (Muslims) to be terrorising Americans in their country. America maybe needs someone like Trump, 'the immoral pig' to make some drastic decisions for them. And, time will tell if his drastic decisions are called for. As for you Rihanna, go back to dancing nude on stage and singing about 'work, work, work', you're not even a citizen of America.
