Despite the war against corruption led by the President of the country since he got to power,Nigeria retained it's 136th position in the Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index 2016. Nigeria is sharing the position with Lebanon, Myanmar, Guatemala, Kyrgyzstan and Papua New Guinea.
