Very nice. I would actually like to see it on a proper television display, at its native resolution. It would be good to run some intense VFX shots integrated with the footage from a cam like this. Maybe in 2010 we'll get the opportunity.

, working on a motion project.i have a question for other motion artists, if anyone knows how to achieve the flicker video effect, wish i had an example to post but lik something in DRAKE'S digital girl video where the person's image flickrs reveailing different color images, blue, red or something.then goes back to the normal image, lik this anaglaph effect in pictures.i really think it should has a technical name so i could google.it, pls opinion and answers are needed ASAP

the 7D is amazing. even 5D is awesome. where can i hire this in lagos. i will eventually get one for myself. it makes other pro cams look foolish. and its only about 250 to 300k compared to a panasonic p2 which is about 500k+.

if u use it with good lights, and grade with magic bullet looks its just awesome.

please where can i hire this in lagos

@dasa, As for renting the camera, I don't know anyone that would rent it out because I don't rent mine out. The only option available is to hire the camera + me.

@dasa
I would not say that the 7d makes my xha1 look foolish in fact far from from it.
I have both the 7d and the xha1. There are some situations where the xha1 looks better and some situations where the 7d looks better.
What I like about the 7d is that it's small it's good in low light if you have fast lens and you get great shallow dof .
The 7d has a lot of limitations most are solvable but at a cost . All of a sudden your your 300k is now looking more like 700k.
Even with it's limitations I have no regrets buying this camera
