android is the ruling operating system right now, zero doubts about that but when it comes to data management trust me poo will drain your data till you go bloke! Apart from social media platforms which seem to consume less data (from my observation), you'd hardly be able to manage a 3gb/month data on android if u are someone who like to spread mat and sleep in the net everyday.....

So my question is......please which of these two platforms is recommended for someone who browse a lot?
Which of them demands less data?

Data is like 200litres of water... How long it will last depends on the demand...

boss i beg to differ ooo. I some times use a nokia E5 to browse, can u beliv i can use a 500 mb data for 2 months on dat phone with heavy browsing without any downloads. If i do so on android, i will only use dat mb for 2 weeks or less. I know because i use android too

android is cool.. but if you have a laptop that has apps that auto update themselves when a network is detected I swear you will cry.. preferably I use Firefox when browsing with hotspot on.. but I wouldn't advice my enemies to use torch browser on android hotspot onless. sometimes I use my school WiFi so I don't really care.

So you are comparing a WAP browser to an HTML5 browser.. ?
Comparing operamini browser that loads in kilobytes to android browser that loads in megabytes...

Android browser is close to using a browser on a PC, so what do you except?

okk i didnt get what you meant by 'on demand' so now i understand. Yap android zaps data. So between windows and BB10, which one demands more data?

you can change the settings of ur pc so that it can only update when you request for it. But even at dat, pcs consume data like something else, probably because of the bigger screen

A BB10 does data compression, so to me it would save data better than a Windows phone.....

i dont think it does boss, if u were talking about older bb's i would have agreed. The bb 10 does not compress data at all but i think it uses less data than android.
