The reality of the exchange rate differential is simple. Looting and savings aside, the current government got the macroeconomics completely wrong. You need savvy men to run your economy and this current government has shown absolute ignorance as far as the economy is concerned. Dollars are scarse because foreign investors have pulled out about $80b from the economy due to the lack of a proper economic direction by this administration.
