This interesting prayer was given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard: "Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have embezzled public funds and called it essential expenses click here to read the rest http://360naija.com/2014/12/08/pastor-guts/#.VIVfLazH3IU

According to scientists, we’re terrible at keeping New Year’s resolutions. Shocker, I know, kind of like that thing you’re always hearing bears do in the woods. “Willpower, like a bicep, can only exert itself so long before it gives out; it’s an extremely limited mental resource,” wrote Jonah Lehrer in a 2009 Wall Street Journal piece canvassing our cerebral proclivities — or lack thereof. I can relate. I’ve never kept a New Year’s resolution much past that first week or two. What’s that Homer Simpson quote? “Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is never try.” I’m not that despondent about annual self-betterment oaths, I just don’t think an arbitrary date’s the best way to recalibrate. Pick a date, any date, and if you’ve mentally girded yourself for the task ahead, it’ll do. But okay, maybe your 2013 was long and arduous and you’re here looking for encouraging words, or how about just a round of encouraging apps to give you some 2014 guidance? Here’s a getcha-started rundown based on a Harris Poll of the 10 most common New Year’s resolutions, to help with your stab at post-festivities asceticism. Addendum: Don’t try all or even a handful of these at once if you want to make headway. As Lehrer puts it, “Bad habits are hard to break—and they’re impossible to break if we try to break them all at once.” So before you throw stuff like triple-thick shakes and buckets of cheese-dipped fried chicken or smoking, binge shopping trips and piles of household bric-a-brac under the bus in a kind of self-improvement surfeit, maybe start with just one of the apps from the list below and give it the old college try. And if all else fails, remember what Oscar Wilde supposedly said: Everything in moderation — including moderation! Lose It! The obligatory weight loss app of the bunch, this one’s available free for iOS and Android (as well as Nook, Kindle or any computer browser). It’s essentially a calorie tracker wrapped inside an elegant interface — its chief selling point, in my view — that includes category-based goal-making, customizable challenges, a food barcode scanner, optional social links for peer support and a mammoth backend database that includes “thousands of restaurant, grocery store, and brand-name foods.” The free version covers fitness essentials, but if you’re looking for more granularity, $40 a year gets you “premium“ extras, including support for additional health metrics and compatible fitness devices. Mint Get your personal finances in order (for iOS and Android), and note that “in order” can mean simply paying attention to what’s going on, which is where budget-only apps fall down. I’ve tinkered with all the major finance management apps over the years, from Microsoft Money and Quicken to online web one-offs and roll-my-own spreadsheets. Mint’s the best thing I’ve encountered, hands down. It’ll plug into any account — banking to credit cards to investments — auto-categorize transactions (though it sometimes needs a helping hand), and then auto-collate everything in easy-to-read graphs. It also lets you create any type of budget and — crucially — lets you disable access remotely with the click of a Mint.com account button, in the event you lose your device. Runmeter I’m a longtime runner, so with apologies, I’m going to bias the “exercise more” category slightly — I’d rather evangelize what I know than toss out something superficially all-encompassing. Runmeter’s selling point is its gorgeous interface and detailed cross-relational info screens, giving you everything you’d want (and more), from its real-time map to calories burned to pace-per-mile to elevation changes to historical aggregation — all in easy swiping distance. You’ll have to spend $5 a year to add trend analysis, check traffic or download additional voice types, and note that Runmeter is iOS-only, so if you’re looking for an Android alternative, my previous favorite was MapMyRun. Job Search Need a job? Want a new one? Job Search (free for iOS and Android) is the highest rated tool on Apple’s and Google’s app stores, letting you sort by relevance or date, GPS-related location as well as jobs that support applications directly from a mobile device. Fooducate If you want to eat healthier, you need to know what’s actually in whatever you’re buying, which is where Fooducate comes in. It lets you scan product barcodes to conjure letter grades (A to D) based, according to TIME health writer Alexandra Sifferlin, “on an algorithm developed by nutritionists and dietitians, which takes into account the nutritional density of each food.” This one’s free for iOS and Android. Breathe2Relax So much of stress management — relaxing, meditating, shifting your attitude in the moment and so forth — hinges on how you manage something as deceptively simplistic and autonomic as breathing. Breathe2Relax is a free app for iOS and Android focused on diaphragmatic breathing techniques designed to “decrease the body’s ‘fight-or-flight’ (stress) response, and help with mood stabilization, anger control, and anxiety management.” QuitSTART Surely the most difficult resolution to keep, quitting smoking probably qualifies as the most impactful. QuitSTART is a free app for iOS and Android created by the Tobacco Control Research Branch at the National Cancer Institute and endorsed by Smokefree.gov that’ll help you “track your cravings and moods, monitor your progress toward achieving smokefree milestones, identify your smoking triggers, and upload personalized ‘pick me ups’ and reminders to use during challenging times to help you successfully become and stay smokefree.” No really, Facebook. No app’s going to help you improve a relationship by itself — robo-reminders and box-checking lists aren’t the way to go if we’re talking about meaningful interaction — and since Facebook’s the de facto social network (for better or worse), consider this: Instead of abandoning Facebook in a fit of post-hipterist pique, how about just pruning your friends list? Mine was pushing 1,000 a year-and-a-half ago, when my son was born, most of that tally people I’d never met. Now it’s down to a few hundred strong: actual friends and relatives only. Improving relationships online is really about curation and having the time to focus…again, assuming we’re talking about meaningful interaction. Strict Workflow This could just as well be something native, like iOS and OS X’s native “Reminders” tool if you’re self-disciplined enough to use it consistently, but since a lot of day to day work is still done in browsers, and the most popular browser at the moment is Google’s Chrome, consider giving Strict Workflow a shot. It’s a freebie “time management strategy” plugin based on the Pomodoro Technique that bids you tap a tomato at 30 minute intervals: you work for 25 of those 30, distraction-free — the app blocks access to popular sites (and you can add others) — then reward yourself with a five minute break. RunPee The Harris Poll’s final New Year’s resolution pick, “take a break,” feels like double-dipping, since there’s already a stress management category, so let’s have some fun: We’ve all at one time or another been at a movie theater, beholding some mind-blowing sequence, when nature calls. RunPee, $0.99 for iOS, Android and Windows phones, will “tell you the best time to run and pee during a movie without missing the best scenes.” Give yourself — and your overworked bladder — the break it deserves in 2014, all the movie-year long. - See more at: http://360naija.com/2014/01/02/10-apps-help-new-years-resolutions-stick/#sthash.2pzYhs3h.dpuf

The medical condition of Ariel Sharon, former prime minister of Israel, has worsened in recent days as he battles reported kidney problems while in a coma. A spokesman at the hospital near Tel Aviv where Sharon is being treated put it bluntly: his condition has “deteriorated in the past few days.” Sharon served as prime minister of Israel from 2001 until 2006, when he had a stroke and went into a coma, where he has remained since. The 85-year-old military general served in nearly every major Israeli conflict since the birth of the state. Elected for his well-known hardline stance, Sharon softened his positions slightly after assuming office, CNN reports. Sharon’s health has wavered since going into a coma eight years ago. In January 2013, doctors reported seeing brain activity when he was shown photos of his home and heard his son’s voice. - See more at: http://360naija.com/2014/01/02/ariel-sharons-condition-worsens-amid-8-year-coma/#.UsUtsM7N6So

According to City People Magazine, Senator Yerima has divorced his Egyptian 17 year old wife, Mariam. The former Zamfara state governor is also said to have married a new wife, also from Egypt, aged 15. Yerima is not allowed to have more than FOUR wives, hence why he had to divorce one to marry one. According to the magazine, Yerima and four men, said to be members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly were in Egypt a few weeks ago for the wedding fathia of a new bride said to be 15 years old. Marian who is now 17 and a mother of one, is believed to be the daughter of the former governor’s driver whenever he visits Egypt. Sen. Ahmed Yerima this year was strongly against the deletion of the section of the 1999 constitution which pegged the official marriage age in Nigeria as 18 years, saying it was anti-Islam. - See more at: http://360naija.com/2013/12/17/senator-yerima-marries-15-year-old-girl-divorces-17-year-old-wife/#.UrBh3PvN6So

The two Ivory Coast internationals unveiled their personal messages after Galatasaray’s game against Elazigspor on Friday, their first game after the death of South African icon Mandela. Chelsea legend Drogba peeled off his shirt at the 2-0 win to reveal a tribute which said: ‘Thank you Madiba’ and former Arsenal defender Eboue’s vest said: ‘Rest in Peace Nelson Mandela’. The Turkish FA (TFF) are planning to summon the Galatasaray pair to appear before the Professional Football Discipline Committee because they had not sought prior permission to display their messages. It is in contrast to England where games this weekend have been preceded by a minute of applause in celebration of Mandela’s life and his role in ending apartheid in South Africa and transforming the international profile of Africa. Plans to discipline Drogba and Eboue are certain to attract criticism and fuel debate in Turkey, where the TFF are trying to keep political imagery out of football as directed by FIFA, although it has proved increasingly difficult in a football-crazy nation beset by political tension. Players from Fethiyespor were recently charged by the disciplinary committee for wearing t-shirts reading: ‘Great Ataturk’ in homage of the founder of modern Turkey - See more at: http://360naija.com/2013/12/08/didier-drogba-emmanuel-eboue-face-fines-turkish-fa-displaying-vests-bearing-tributes-nelson-mandela/#.UqTRVfvN6So

A Wendy’s employee has been fired for admitting that a half-smoked marijuana cigarette found in a customer’s sandwich was hers. Amy Elizabeth Sieber, 32, worked at a Wendy’s restaurant in Lovejoy, Ga, and was one of two people working when the incident occurred, the Associated Press reports. She was fired in November. The patron, who has not been identified, had already taken a bite before she noticed the smell of the drug, according to a police report released Thursday. Sieber immediately admitted the drugs belonged to her when the police arrived. She later apologized and was fired. Wendy’s also apologized. “Obviously the employee broke the rules and did not follow proper food handling steps,” Wendy’s spokesman Denny Lynch said. Sieber hasn’t commented. - See more at: http://360naija.com/2013/12/07/woman-finds-half-smoked-marijuana-blunt-wendys-burger/#.UqLUQPvN6So

China now has more billionaires than any country in the world except the U.S., according to a report published by Wealth-X and UBS last month. According to the Billionaire Census 2013, China now has 157 billionaires with a combined net worth of $384 billion. Reflecting China’s rapid economic rise of recent years, nearly all of the surveyed billionaires are self-made — fewer than one in 10 inherited their wealth. The country’s new super-rich are also relatively young. China’s billionaires have an average age of 53 — nine years younger than the global average. While the statistics are impressive, observers of China’s new upper class warn that the group is feeling the pinch from the country’s slowing economy. The 2013 Hurun Wealth Report, published in August, noted that growth in the numbers of wealthy Chinese had dropped to the slowest rate in five years. The report noted a 3% rise in the number of people worth more than RMB 10 million ($1.64 million) and just a 2% growth in the wealth of those worth more than RMB 100 million ($16.4 million). According to Hurun, 30% of the wealthy Chinese it surveyed in 2012 are professional stock investors and real estate speculators. A place on a super-rich list isn’t necessarily highly coveted. Some of China’s new rich fear scrutiny from the country’s tax authorities after their wealth is made public. Others may be afraid of the effects of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s ongoing anti-corruption crackdown. Previous government attempts to crack down on the illicit nexus between money and power have led to the arrests of several people who used to grace lists of China’s richest individuals. - See more at: http://360naija.com/?p=7323&preview=true#sthash.PIuciwEz.dpuf

Universities (ASUU) at the weekend embarked on mass mobilisation of members not to comply with the federal government December 4 ultimatum to resume lectures. Members of the union were directed not to sign any register that may be opened by their Vice Chancellors. The leadership of the union on Friday before departing from Abuja following the federal government riot act instructing them to return to work or be sacked directed all branches chairmen to device means of mobilizing their members not to fall for the threats of the federal government. It described the federal government’s threat as “empty”, pending the next National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the Union slated for Minna. An official of the union who was in the Abuja meeting told our Correspondent that Chairmen were also advised not to hold public congresses in order to avoid any face off with armed military men government deployed to all institutions for the implementation of the December 4 deadline of re-opening. Our source also said that the date for the NEC meeting fixed for Minna, Niger State capital may not be made public but that the council may reconvene by the weekend after chairmen of branches would have assessed the implementation of the deadline given for resumption. “Chairmen of all branches are to devise means of mobilising their members not to be intimidated into signing any register or returning to back to classroom. We also resolve not to hold any open congress now that our campuses are militarized but we will ensure that our people are adequately informed. “Same goes for the next NEC meeting. We resolved not to make public the date but we want all branches to monitor and ensure non-compliant with the federal government December 4 deadline before the council meeting slated for Minna, Niger State,” our source disclosed. To this end the Union have started using the short message service (sms) and other social media platforms to reach out and to mobilise members not to succumb to federal government threat which the union described as “empty”, insisting that the strike continues. One of the messages sent to mobilise members stated thus “Dear members, FG decision to threaten us with sack confirms our suspicion that FG may not be honest and can not be trusted. Don’t sucumb (sic) to this empty threat. The strike continues. We shall triumph again. Please, DO NOT SIGN ANY REGISTER. ALUTA CONTINUA- CHAIRPERSON”. Another message reads, “Dear Congress member, I’m appealing we should stay calm and remain resolute. There is nothing wrong in asking govt to do what it says it will do immediately. ASUU is not making any new demands as the Minister is propagating Govt is only repeating a ‘one act play’ scripted by the IBB dictatorship in early 90s. It didn’t work then, and, it won’t work now ALL BRANCHES are intact. We cannot be intimidated!!! UNITED WE BARGAIN DIVIDED WE BEG!!! ALUTA CONTINUA”. Another Professor at the Federal University of Technology Minna who spoke in confidence expressed shock at the government ultimatum. “One is shocked by the deadline. If they sack all of us, government will go to Kasua Gwari to pack lecturers or pick Professors on the streets. It is a pity, our leaders are reckless. “We are not moved by the ultimatum. We are waiting to see how they (govt) intend to wriggle itself out of the self inflicted problem. Do they know how the system runs. The era of intimidation is gone ,” the university don stated. Meanwhile University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and Enugu State University of Science and Technology have directed students to resume today. - See more at: http://360naija.com/?p=7310&preview=true#sthash.itLA2BLu.dpuf

According to PM News, Pastor Chris Okotie Of Household of God Church took some time while preaching in his church to condemn the Catholics, their beliefs and their leader, the Pope. He said; “All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil. They are not Christians and have never been. They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual. The pope is an Anti-Christ and the Catholic church will soon declare for Satan. This is the end of times.. “They don’t believe in heaven. They believe in purgatory, the purgatory that they invented,” Okotie said. “That church, the Catholic church has been there for Satan and at the right time, they will declare for Satan,” Okotie said. - See more at: http://360naija.com/?p=7306&preview=true#sthash.GsyNSYrm.dpuf

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos revealed an experimental drone-based delivery service in a 60 Minutes segment on Sunday. Bezos said the service, dubbed Amazon Prime Air, could be ready for customer use in “four or five years.” “I know this looks like science fiction, it’s not,” said Bezos, before adding that “this is early, this is still years away.” Bezos said the drone could carry objects of up to 5 lb. (2.27 kg) within a 10-mile (16 km) radius of an Amazon distribution center. Given that Amazon has been steadily building distribution centers in an increasing number of urban areas, the service would theoretically cover a significant number of customers. The craft are autonomous, per Bezos: an Amazon employee would enter a delivery recipient’s location and away the aircraft would fly. “The hard part here is putting in all the redundancy,” Bezos told interviewer Charlie Rose. “All the reliability to say this can’t land on somebody’s head.” Amazon’s drone delivery service will also have to comply with the Federal Aviation Administration’s new airspace rules for unmanned aircraft, which the agency is planning to have in place by 2015. After the 60 Minutes segment aired, Amazon shared this footage showing the system in use: In preview segments, Bezos promised “something he wanted to unveil for the first time,” leading people on Twitter to speculate that it could be an Amazon television. Others joked that perhaps Bezos would buy CBS (he stunned the media world when it was announced in August that he had bought the Washington Post for $250 million). Zaha Hadid, the world’s best-known female architect, is none too pleased with critics like Jon Stewart, who have mocked her Al Wakrah Stadium—designed with AECOM for the in Qatar—and likened her to the “Georgia O’Keeffe of things you can walk inside.” “It’s really embarrassing that they come up with nonsense like this,” Hadid tells TIME exclusively. “What are they saying? Everything with a hole in it is a vagina? That’s ridiculous.” The curved, open roof is meant to evoke the the sail of the dhow, a traditional fishing boat common in Qatar. “Honestly, if a guy had done this project,” she adds, critics would not be making such lewd comparisons - See more at: http://360naija.com/2013/11/28/architect-zaha-hadid-fires-back-critics-called-vagina-stadium/#.Upgyk6z4Isc

Kelechi Iheanacho’s father, James, has confirmed that his son is set to sign for English Premier League side, Manchester City. Iheanacho has courted interested from big European clubs, after he emerged as the best player at the U-17 World Cup in UAE, where he scored six goals, as the Golden Eaglets lifted the trophy. “As I am talking to you, I have chosen in my mind that Kelechi is going to Manchester United,” he said on SuperSport’s ‘Monday Night Football’, before correcting himself by saying: “I have told you that he is going to Manchester City.” He also revealed that the player’s family made the decision together, on Monday night, after praying together. “We prayed [on Monday] and, after due consultations with family members, we came up with Manchester City, believing he has a future there,” he explained. “That is where he will be uplifted.” James last week raised an alarm that his son was missing, but it understood he returned on Monday morning, before the decision was made. - See more at: http://360naija.com/?p=7201&preview=true#sthash.p7l5OL2o.dpuf

Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Scott Mathers, have reportedly reconciled, and her mother thinks the two might even rekindle their romance. Kim’s mother, Kathy Sluck, recently revealed to RadarOnline.com that “The Monster” rapper and her daughter see each other “all the time” and “get along better than ever.” He’s currently building her a new mansion just five miles from his own house on Mile Road in Macomb, Mich. “She has been clean all these years, she just takes care of her family. She’s doing very well,” Kathy said. “I think they might [get back together soon], they get on better than ever.” Eminem, 41, and Kim met when they were just teenagers. They married in 1999 and got divorced in 2001, only to remarry in 2006 and divorce again that same year. Their rocky relationship was marred by drug use and infidelities, and documented in songs like 2000′s rage-filled “Kim.” But Marie Hartter, the grandmother of Eminem’s adopted daughter and Kim’s biological daughter from a previous relationship, Whitney, thinks Eminem and Kim have a shot at forever. “They will probably grow old together one way or another, as much as he says he hates her in his music, he loves her that much too, I feel,” she told Radar. “I think it’s kind of like throwing gas on the fire. I’ve always felt that that was each of their one true love. I think they met very young, they were together a lot of years, I don’t think she’s ever been with anyone for as long as she’s been with him, whether it’s off and on.” Back in 2010, Eminem described how difficult it is for him to date during an interview with Rolling Stone. “As far as going out, like dinner and a movie — I just can’t,” he said. “Going out in public is just too crazy. I mean, I’d like to be in a relationship again someday. Who doesn’t? It’s just hard to meet new people, in my position.” Eminem and Kim were most recently together when their daughter, Hailie, was crowned Homecoming Queen of Chippewa Valley High School last month. Hailie stepped out at the event with her mother, while her father reportedly watched from inside the school. - See more at: http://360naija.com/2013/11/20/eminem-kim-mathers-back-together-rapper-reportedly-reconciled-ex/#.Uo2MGqz4I6A

Algeria qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil Twelve people died in Algeria and another 240 were injured as fans celebrated the country’s World Cup qualifier win on Tuesday, officials said. A government statement on Wednesday said five fans were killed when a van slid off a road into a ravine in Bejaia, a mountain town east of Algiers, the Associated Press reports. Four others died in a car accident in the southern city Biskra. The statement didn’t provide details on how the remaining three died. Many of the injuries were reportedly sustained in car accidents. Algeria held off Burkina Faso on Tuesday night with a 1-0 win, making for a 3-3 aggregate tie and a victory on away goals. Four other African nations will join Algeria for the World Cup next year: Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria. - See more at: http://360naija.com/2013/11/20/12-killed-240-injured-world-cup-celebration/#.Uo1e36yIZdg

The best thing to happen to plane bathrooms since the invention of the mile-high club Of all the strange and unexpected things people brace themselves to find in airplane bathrooms, over a million dollars in gold isn’t one of them. But for the second time in a month, an airline cleaning crew found stashes of gold hidden by plane toilets. This is the best thing to happen to airplane bathrooms since the invention of the mile-high club. Indian officials said a maintenance crew found two duffle bags full of 24 gold bars, weighing 53 pounds and worth $1.2 million, stashed in a bathroom compartment on Tuesday, NBC reports. The 737 had traveled from Mumbai to Bangkok to Kolkata. India is the world’s largest importer of gold. But that figure pales in comparison to the $1.9 million a cleaning crew found in the form of 280 gold bars literally flushed down the toilet. The plane had flown from Dubai to the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka. We don’t know what kind of smuggling scheme is going on here, but we think they’re doing it wrong. - See more at: http://360naija.com/2013/11/20/people-keep-finding-millions-gold-bars-airplane-bathrooms/#.Uo1ZvayIZdg

Former Borno state governor, Senator Ali Modu Sherrif has added another airplane to his fleet with his latest acquisition being a new Gulfstream jet G650 model that cost him an estimated $72 million (N11.5 billion) and topped the chart of top 10 private jet owners in Nigeria. Registered in Dubai with special specifications, the aircraft is the fourth in his fleet, as he already has three old Dornier aircraft which he acquired from Aero Contractors at an estimated $3 million (N480 million). The actions of the former governor, who has been alleged to fund the terrorist Boko Haram sect in North-eastern Nigeria, on the new aircraft, has been described by a Nigerian pilot as unpatriotic. According to him, by registering the aircraft overseas, Sheriff had denied Nigeria taxes and import duty on the aircraft. No Nigerian pilot or engineer would also be employed to operate or work on the aircraft because with the foreign registration, only pilots and engineers licensed in the United Arab Emirates would be authorised to operate and service the aircraft. “By registering the aircraft overseas, he has avoided tax and import duty, which he should pay to a country where he is a citizen and from which he made the money which he now spends on a foreign crew,” he said. According to US-based Forbes magazine, the Gulfstream G650 has an order book of 200 customers throughout the world. Gulfstream described the aircraft as ultra-high-speed, ultra-long-range business jet and the gold standard in business aviation. The model was introduced in 2008 with a capacity for eight passengers and a crew of four on nonstop legs of 7,000 nautical miles (12,964 km) for standard configuration. “That means it will link Dubai with New York and London with Buenos Aires. When you’re an Olympic athlete, your body is a finely tuned machine, a precise instrument of competition dependent on exactly the correct mix of nutritional elements to fuel optimum results. Unless you’re Usain Bolt, in which case you just devour Chicken McNuggets by the truckful and outrun the entire planet anyway. In his newly published memoir, Bolt reveals that during the two weeks of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, he scarfed down an estimated one thousand nuggets. In excerpts referenced by the New York Post, Bolt called Chinese food “odd” and decided to give McDonald’s a try. And for the publicity he’s about to give McDonald’s, he deserves some sponsorship coin: “At first I ate a box of 20 [McNuggets] for lunch, then another for dinner,” he writes. “The next day I had two boxes for breakfast, one for lunch and then another couple in the evening. I even grabbed some fries and an apple pie to go with it.” Apparently that wasn’t enough; Bolt estimates he vacuumed down 100 nuggets every 24 hours for ten days. Also during that time, he happened to win gold medals in the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 4×100 meter relay events. It’s reminiscent of the old story about swimmer Michael Phelps, like Bolt one of the most decorated Olympians in history, eating 12,000 calories a day during his training. (Phelps later said the story was untrue.) Nutritionally, each nugget contains 47.5 calories and 3 grams of fat, so Bolt was consuming 4,750 calories and 300 grams of fat from nuggets alone. For perspective, the average American male takes in 2,512 calories and 93 grams of fat per day, while the average woman takes in 1,778 calories and 66 grams of fat. In other words, if you’re not running fast enough to burn off nearly 5,000 calories of nuggets each day, you might want to avoid Bolt’s diet. - See more at: http://360naija.com/art-culture/sports/usain-bolt-says-he-ate-a-thousand-chicken-nuggets-during-the-2008-olympics/#.UnbV7Wfhc89

Davido took to micro-blogging website, Twitter to talk about what happened at his house yesterday. He explained that he prevented an artist from entering into his house although he didn’t mention the person’s name, he however re-tweeted a tweep who cc’d Waconzy to the tweet thus pointing in the direction that he indeed meant Waconzy. Details of whatever happened are still skeptical at the moment but we promise to bring you more details as soon as we have an update. Do you think it’s right to throw a fellow artist out of your house? From our finding it looks like Waconzy took the first shot at Waconzy by saying his Skelewu single was wack. - See more at: http://360naija.com/art-culture/entertainment/did-davido-kick-out-fellow-musician-waconzy-out-of-his-house/#.UnbDDWfhc88
