Who would u like to be VP under osibanjo?

It's left for him alone to chose who he'll work with but if he make mistake or allow the Northerners to force somebody on him, he may end up having a stubborn he goat like EL-RUFAI.

No, OSIBANDE will pick VP by himself and it must be from the North.

It must not be from the north....but for political stability of the country, it should(and muslim).

Adminisher:

Buhari is not dead and will do two terms.
If for any reasons he has to step down on health grounds i am 90 percent sure the new VP will be Mamman Daura.
Shehu Sanni is very good but he is not there yet....wishful thinking is childish.

May God spare his life and give him good health and wellness but if indeed President Buhari has to hand over government because he is no longer capable due to health reasons, then Prof Yemi Osinbajo, current VP, will become the President of Nigeria and would take another oath giving him power and authority over the sovereingty.

In zonal politics, we have come to expect that President/VP position has to be balanced around North/South, Muslim/Christian.

If we exercise that consideration, then Saraki is a good balance to deputize President Osinbajo. Osinbajo is from SW and a Christian, Saraki is from NC and a Muslim.

Constitutionally, in case of a vacancy, the order of succession is this:

VP becomes President
Senate President becomes VP.

However, if a precedence exists in which the order of succession was not followed in the past and a different arrangement of succesion was introduced, then that precedence becomes a legally acceptable procedure that Prof Osinbajo can invoke if he so chooses.

In this case there will be three options
1. Zonal arrangement of balance
2. Constitutional order of succession
3. Legally acceptable precedence and methodology

The 1 and 2 are pretty straightforward and yes by all means Saraki qualifies.

However, Saraki has never disputed or distanced himself from a derogatory remark in which he referred to Prof Yemi Osinbajo as a "mere commissioner". It can therefore be expected that if Prof Osinbajo were to invoke the 3 choice, Saraki is not coming in as resident in Aso Rock. Simple! In fact, Saraki stands in risk of loosing his position as Senate President if he does not fall in line and begin to accord respect and honor to his new President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

The President will pick his own vice unless he ceded that power to the party.

He is likely to pick someone from the North West to compensate for Buhari. That rules out Saraki who is still seen as Yoruba by the North when it's convenient.

He is not like to pick El Rufai or Tambuwal as these guys have eyes for the top job.

How can people even imagine a Saraki being a VP to Osinbajo? Have you all forgotten the insult how he called him a mere commissioner? Mind you it's him that would have the exclusive right to nominate his VP like Jonathan did.
Anyway everything is God's will if Osinbajo is destined to be president there's nothing anybody can do.
