so you understand the Nigeria constitution more than these SANS

Get real Mr Man. They did not address the entire gamut of what the process entails which is what I tried to do! Yes, he has complied with the constitutional requirement of transmitting power to the Vice President but should that be indefinite? That is what I addressed and highlighted the pitfalls to such a practice. Go and request for medical leave from your boss without medical reports backing same and without a date of return then see how that plays out.

Some Nigerians are two-faced.During the Yar'adua issue,it was about Northerners. You guys painted the North has desperadoes clinging on to power, it wasn't about PDP.This time around,a different yardstick is being used.It is now a matter of 'APC' or 'this administration'.

I do not think there is anywhere in the world that a 'worker' or 'employee' can request an indefinite extension of leave even on medical grounds. There ought to be a clearly stated date of return. Again, it is unheard of that leave is extended on medical grounds without a detailed medical report. In fact, it is that report that serves as basis for which an extension can be requested and granted after necessary considerations.

We do not have such a situation here rather just a flimsy open-ended letter. Beyond handing over to the VP, it is dangerous for any office to be run in acting capacity particularly one as sensitive as the Office of the President for an indefinite length of time. The 'acting person' is severely limited even though, on the face of it, he is said to have all the substantive powers of that office. He is unable to make any decisive changes or reviews both of policy and appointments for fear of 'offending his boss'.

Long story short, a definite date of return needs to be fixed and communicated to the Senate. When he is unable to 'return' at d expiration of such date and upon independent medical advice, he is to be declared medically incapable of occupying and running d office and the Acting President sworn in as substantive president. Whoever occupies that or any other office needs to work with trusted hands that he can reasonably vouch for.

His medical report, which is supposed to be confidential, should be broadcast on NTA to please your duffle brain?

I guess you lack comprehension, The President has transfer power to Osinbajo pending when he will return to the country and that's what the constitution says So what are you fuss about?

Our President now is Osinbajo in acting capacity so get that okay..

Well, what is paining me personally is the fact that he's in a foreign land treating himself, spending Nigeria money in abroad when he could have stayed back in the country and make use of the nation's health services since he's the one who said Nigerians shouldn't patronize any foreign goods or services. Why can't he do or carry out what he's asking other Nigerians to do? What is wrong with equipping our hospitals with necessary facilities that will meet up with what he has gone abroad to patronize.
If he can't patronize Nigeria goods or services, why is he forcing other Nigerians to do same, isn't that hypocrisy? And to say that he and his cabinet members do not see anything wrong with their hypocritical attitude tells a lot about the type of leaders they are.

Government of "do as I say, do not do as I do"
Government of so so talk, opposite action.
Government of deceit.
Government of hypocrisy!
Government of suffering and hardship!

So the president is an employee of the Senate.
Have you ever read the constitution or you just feel that is the way it is supposed to be?

He is not an 'employee' of the Senate but of the Nigerian people who hold the Executive accountable through the Senate. (Principle of checks and balances...ring a bell?) Having the words 'worker' and 'employee' in inverted commas was meant to stave off simple-minded questions such as yours you have just asked but clearly you missed the import of same. The President is not lord and master of all, he is answerable and subject to the constitution as well as the rules of service for the office of the President.

The last time I checked, PMB has not acted contrary to the dictates of the constitution.
