Marketing/Business Development Officer NEEDED
Our client, an above/below-the-line Print Media firm is currently looking for a Marketing/Business Development Officer that is available for immediate employment.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement a range of strategies
• Engage in market research in order to identify new opportunities for business.
• Plans and develops marketing and sales strategies consistent with the overall goals and objectives of the business.
• Develop business proposals for existing and new customers
• Develop and manage annual sales and operating budgets, and regularly monitors performance to budget parameters.
• Develops innovative strategies for retaining clients.
• Assumes responsibility for all publicity, advertising, catalogues, exhibitions, for the enterprise.
• Performs direct customer sales in key area; promotes and maintains customer relations with major accounts nation-wide.
• Analyse current and past sales expense budgets, and revenues. This helps to provide recommendations for the company’s growth and resolution of variance.
• Represents the enterprise at conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and other special events.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activity.
• Execute other functions as delegated

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• BSC/HND in marketing and any related business administration degree with a minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience.

ABILITIES/SKILLS:
• Interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Expert marketing skills and ability to implement new and innovative marketing strategies
• Must be aware of the market trends
• Good presentation skills and sound statistical skills
