Context/Scope:
Our client is a leading supplier of tubes and related services for the world’s energy industry and certain other industrial applications with Manufacturing Facilities in 15 countries, Research and Development Centers in 15 countries and Service & Distribution networks in more than 30 countries.

The Maintenance Coordinator has overall responsibility for the Maintenance Organisation in Nigeria (Threading and Coating Plants).
The role coordinates the management of base maintenance groups (BMGs) in Nigeria, ensuring the reduction of process disruptions, Guarantees the correct operation of equipment, meets quality standards, prepares the budget of spare parts to be used and minimizes costs.

Essential Technical Skills Required
1. Experience working with CNC Machines
2. Experience/exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics, Automation and Instrumentation Engineering with 10 to 15 years’ experience.
3. Experience working and leading teams in a world class manufacturing environment

- Experience working with preventive and reactive maintenance.
- Experience in automation equipment and PLC.
- Experience managing Maintenance working teams.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the execution of the preventive maintenance plan managing base maintenance groups and third-party resources. Analyzes machine performance, coordinates monthly and annual repairs and the administration of spare parts in assigned area.
- Reduces the frequency of maintenance interventions identifying the best technology, new applications and best use.
- Proposes investment projects to reduce failures and production downtime.
- Meets process quality standards influencing in machine variables to prevent future manufacturing problems.
- Designs the budget of spare parts to be used performing a stock-count of spare parts, coordinating major inputs needed for repairs. Minimizes costs by tracking cost behavior and analyzing cost reduction options.
- Maintains a safe work environment, in accordance with regulations and the business’ safety policies.
- Ensures the observance and respect for the consumption targets/goals and promotes its improvement, considering actions on employees' behavior, defining all the appropriate interventions that aim to optimize required energy and reduce the consumption waste.
- Complies with the business’ policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his area.
