There's always this popular saying that 'the youths are the leaders of tomorrow' but lately Nigerian youths do not have what it takes to be that leader.

1. Some Nigerian youths have not taken charge of anything before. For instance, most so called youths these days didn't do any household chores while growing up. Their parents hired two or even three house help to do the cooking, cleaning, washing of car etc while they sit and watch TV the whole day. These are youths who cannot be responsible for anything, even home management, so how then can we give them a while nation to manage.

2. Some Nigerian youths haven't done anything themselves before. Most parents pay heavy bribe for their children to gain admission in to Federal Government Colleges and other institutions. When the child is about rounding up, WAEC and JAMB is fixed for the child and he or she is in University. After University, the parents bribe a staff of NYSC for the child to be posted to Lagos, Abuja or Port Harcourt. After NYSC, the parents again through connection get the child a job in blue chip without aptitude test or interview. The child starts working and the next thing the parents again do 'arrangee' marriage for the child.

Now tell me do we need such individuals as our leaders in the name of 'Youth being the leaders of tomorrow'. The Nigerian Youth is still a baby spoon fed by parents, uncles and relatives. That's why President Buhari can be Head of state in 1984 and 2015, because these overgrown babies called youths are irresponsible and not able to achieve anything by themselves unless assisted, helped, spoon fed and tele guided.

Which father bequeaths his company to a son or daughter who isa coward, someone who is scared of attempting something themselves.

President Donald Trump son is running the Trump corporation now, do Nigerian youths thinks it's a walk in the park?

Grow up babies, stop being spoon-fed by your parents. I'll love to see the son of a governor coming out tops in an interview and test, a first class without parents influence.

Until the youths start going out on their own, leaders in the 90's will still rule by 2019.

They are ready to vacate it is the youths that are not ready to take over. Nigeria one time had a Head of State at 31, Minster at 25. What changed? The next generation of youths became babies, spoon fed by mummy and daddy. Whatever they wanted was given.

The percentage is very low say between 3 - 5% which is almost negligible.
