Mikel even won more with Chelsea including Champions League but what were his contributions to those trophy haul when you place him side-by-side with fellow Africans like Drogba and Essien or the likes of Lampard, Terry etc. Same issue with Kanu. The likes of Henry, Pires, Bergkamp and Vieira had much more influence in landing those trophies. Infact Kanu became a player that came off the bench for few minutes to go, in most of those Arsenal glory days like the invincibles 2003-2004. He had only 44 goals in 197 appearances for Arsenal. How's that a world-class achievement for someone used as a striker? I put it to you that though Kanu is a better overall footballer, but as far as the EPL goes, Aiyegbeni is a better rated striker than Kanu.
