Function keys in computers are placed at the upper layer of the keyboard "top" which most of the typists never intend using them because they don't know the work or with it does. Looking in to the Manning of these keys you'll notice that they are programmable keys that allows some programs to assign certain actions. However the regular use of a particular actions in certain programs has made most of the function keys unique for the purpose of them major programs. Take for instance "the F1 key - it is mostly used or known to be help key". Also know you that the functions of each of these keys is determined by the operating system you use or the type of application you're running in your computer system.

Almost or some of these keys are already programmed at the beginning of the Operating System. There's keys can generate a short sequence of characters "ASCII" or send a sequence of characters that are explained by the Operating System or arranged tasks or rather some programs to state routines.
As we all know - the function keys are used as quick command key or shortcut key to person arranged actions.

The below are the percolate of the Function keys:
F1 - serves as the help key.
F2 - gives you the permission to rename or edit an active cell.
F3 - allows you to make use of search features.
F4 - it if used to close an active window.

F11 - view full screen or reduce screen in Internet browser or create a new chart.
