That's the problem with Nigerians

Always worried and flexing muscle over the wrong shit undecided

Since the programme is rated 18+, are they trying to tell us that they care more about the moral values of the adults watching it than the adults themselves?

It's nobody's fault that they can't control what their kids or minors under their guidance watch undecided .....with so many media of disseminating information these days, if the kid is really interested in becoming morally perverted, there is very little one can do to stop it sad

They should make use of their DSTV parental control functions and shut the hell up sad .....and no, it's nobody's fault that the kids/minors get to watch it somewhere else....lock the pikin inside without access to Internet and humanity if you are really bent on keeping him/her a sexually moral virgin sad
trash...

I'M JUST THINKING OUT LOUD.

THE BIG BROTHER NAIJA SHOW.

There's a notorious programme currently going on called THE BIG BROTHER NAIJA. The winner of this notorious show is expected to walk away with a whopping N25 million and a breathtaking car. All that is required to win this show is to be Live with a bunch of fellow crazy, irresponsible people, do all sorts of immoral things, and, viola, you're the winner.

Next thing, you're called a celebrity, winning big advertisement contracts and becoming the face of multinational companies.

If only there could be an educating version of this programme. If only they could house some intelligent people in like manner and make them compete for similar prizes. But, no! Our people do not encourage sanity. Our society promotes evil over good, indecency over decency, immorality over morality, and ungodliness over godliness.

The best in Mathematics competitions will go home with either a carton of cowbell milk or Indomie noodles, ridiculous stipends and laughable prizes. Yet these morons in BBN will earn millions for coming to suck breasts, speak thrash, display nudity, and get under the sheets on International TVs.

Our rich individuals, companies and corporate organisations will spend huge sums of money sponsoring dirty shows like BBN and Beauty Pageants where they will enthrone satanic activities, display nudity, molest our under aged girls, and make them win on bottom power rather than on real beauty and brains. Can anyone forget the Anambra State born Chidinma Okeke saga in a hurry?

What a wasted generation! What a time! How do we raise, nurture and produce the next Chike Obis, Chinua Achebes, Wole Soyinkas, Cyril stover, Apostle olatunde Adekunle, and yes, P.O.C. Akorefes? What foundation are we laying for coming generations? What message of hope and legacy are we leaving behind? What epistle are we sending to the future to testify to it that the past made some level of contributions. Is Immorality the legacy we really want to hand down to the next generation? Are we not losing our minds?

Let all people of goodwill come together and raise alarm against this dirty programme. Let us all with one voice and in unison say, "We've had enough of this nonsense." Let us blow the trumpet in Zion and declare war on these encouragers of evil tendencies and promoters of these demonic programmes targeted at our highly impressionable youths. We should see that this programme is replaced with a more intelligent and educative programme.

Nigeria is broke morally and financially, yet the sponsors are wasting millions of Naira on a highly immoral programme. Please what is the lesson that one can learn from this Big Brother show? What can our YOUTHS pick from it? I know this kind of write up doesn't get many shares. But if we keep quiet, then we are silent conspirators.

So share. Share until a thought process is provoked in the heart of everyone and we can stand up to say, Enough of this nonsense."

SAY NO TO IMMORALITY
May your children be wiser than you.You have spoken real sense.Anytime, we talk about this..the argument is always "its entertainment".. "Change your channel".. "Hypocrites"...And a dude is asking " MUST EVERYTHING I WATCH ON TV MAKE SENSE?"..In other words,I could spend a couple of years watching senseless programs on TV and folks be blaming Cossy..Afrocandy..Bobrisky..Denrele and the Lot.WTF did you think they got the ideas from?.Colonization doesn't make me stop thinking. These days the television does most thinking for majority of the people.Brainwashed folks.

Arrant nonsense..

Does it means that Nigerians dont kiss or are not sexually responsive in the real world?

Must you watch the channel?

90 percent of the goddamn sex starved members of the useless NGO are cruel cheaters, who derive fun from cheating on their partners.

My wahala with Naija be say we too dey pretend.

Lolz, do you think there is enough morals in that shit called BBN? Has our musicians not done enough damages to our societal morals? Believe me a time will come that girls will no more be asked if they want sex, all what men will do is to pull their pants from behind and insert their joystick.

The painful part is that we kept encouraging sexuality all because the whites do it but we have forgotten that theae whites are indeed in a developed country where things work the right way.

Seyilaw and the rest who kept blasting those against the crazy show can not sit and watch his own daughter being bleeped right on national tv. How will you feel if your boy at age 16 bleeps 4 to 5 girls randomly and they all got pregnant at that tender age.

If we don't frown at this nonsense then we all should be prepare for the consequenses.

If you have a daughter, don't be suprised if you are being told she started sexual act at age 12 or there about. I have female cousins and I wipe in my heart because the sex act is everywhere, you just can't control what they watch.

I concur. BBN should be advised to look into a program that can help Nigerians to grow.

Take for instance I recently got a place I can start a business. The only thing stopping me is finance .
A business that would instantly employ others and generate revenue for the government.

I tried other means but they were saying a loan can be available after 3-6months.
That accommodation will not be waiting for me till then sad

I am not just saying this for myself. I know that so many Nigerians are also going through the same.

Now imagine what 25million can do in the lives of those 25 Nigerians with good intentions, equipping others, putting food on the table without show of immorality

Governments should look into all these reality shows and channel to a better use for the growth of the Nigerians economy.

My dear, is their money and they can use it as they like.. Go and tell David and all these Telecom companies that are splashing their money on celebrities to stop.. What do u gain watching olamide, davido, phyno music videos? Nothing! Just for the fun of it! Na by force to support u run ur business? Is BBN ur Nigerian govt that should create an enabling environment for u to create jobs?

I am not a fan of the show and I am not a hater.. U all are making the show more popular.. Keeping up with kimkadashian is such a useless reality show, yet it is one of the richest shows on earth..

My dear, entertainment rocks..

take a sit please, you say see how people can live together by doing all sorts of immorality without any form of censorship or what have you. my brother this is not the kind of time to air such in Nigeria with the present psychic of Nigerians.
it does not add food to the table nor solve any of our economic problems, many Nigerians are hungry and angry and see it as an assault to them.

if you want to learn how to live and sleep with a woman under the same roof do that quietly and stop corrupting the minds of unsuspecting minors.

I wonder what morals Nigerians are learning from the show. it should be scrapped for now and not helping Nigerians in any way

it is pure celebration of immorality.

Must everything be about morals? What morals are you gaining from telemundo, zee tv, Africamagic, soundcity etc.? These channels have been available for years but nobody said anything. Suddenly a restricted show came up and aeverybody remembered their morals where they kept it. Let's ask ask ourselves, are we that holy in this country? Can you scroll through nairaland FrontPage without seeing numerous despicable acts committed by the so-called morality loving Nigerians. Some of these people screaming morality have porn stashed away in their devices, get into the mind of some of them and you'll be shocked at the filth that lies in there.

Just Last week, a story trended about a woman who mistakenly transferred money to someone else's account and the person refused to transfer the money back. These same morality loving Nigerians were hailing the thief and mocking the person that made the mistake. Now everybody has turned preacher over a tv show that can be controlled.

Nobody is forcing anybody to watch anything, if you're not comfortable with any type of t.v. program, just change the channel. It's as simple as that.

Who's role is it to decide what's right or wrong?

Out of all the channels on my dstv bouquet, I doubt I watch up to 10 channels, why?
Because I have preferences as an adult

BigbrotherNigeria is simply a show that shows different people and their lifestyle in a controlled but yet real environment. If for some reasons you do not like the idea, switch your channel. There's a whole lot of things in life that make sense to variety of people.

I have also noticed that this Edition of BigbrotherNaija does not reveal shower hour of participants, the cameras are also quick to switch when nudity is displayed. But some mischievous Nigerians will take their time and expend their precious data subscription rewinding and screnshotting the brief moment of nudity to post in blogs and share as they deem fit. If you ask me I'll call such people perverts.

In no certain way has BBN encouraged any immoral act of any sort.

Jeez. I tire for Nigerians oo. 1st DSTV is a cable TV. U bought it with your own money. It has over 100 channels and a beautiful remote. Change the channel. 2. Varieties of channels are on the cable network. Including DoVe. Various Islamic channels, educational channels.... Entertainment and sports. Pick your choice. Now hope we all know dstv ain't charity.... They make money thru adverts wish comes from views. Company like papyporte trying to boost sales.all these are econimics.... And all. Yet people just wake up and say they should stop airing the show. On what basis? No you go find more customers for payporte? Or increase viewing for dstv? Let people sit down and reason. This is business nobody is forcing anyone to watch. Throw away your decoder if e pain you reach that levwl

Guy if you want to watch pornographic material, there are ample channels available to do so without being harassed. But when you lace day time family programs with obscenity you're cutting down what is morally acceptable by society.

Then you ppl will want to address teenage pregnancies...
The question is ,is the program rated 18? Yes
Is there parental guidance control? Yes
Are there other channels to watch aside it? Yes
Does the reality show contribute to teenage pregnancy? No why because our people although not all are already corrupt.

And why would she watch it in the first place? Why would I put on such channel when she's around? Don't Hollywood movies show nudity? Why hasn't it being bound so as to promote our own? . For heaven sake there are many channels to watch on Dstv or gotv so why would anyone bother himself on Big brother Naija? If they're not comfortable, they should change it immediately and not forcing it on other persons. Personally I stopped watching it but doesn't mean I will force my peeps not to watch. The best still is that the program should be censored and made available to those interested.

Just that Nigerians always takes things to the extreme.
We have BBA and even as many times as they have conducted their own, it is not rated as Nigerian's. They do all sorts of things and they are from different tribes and races.

Nigerians in the BBN thinks that by taking it to the extreme, that it will guarantee their winning the cash involved.

The truth is that even if they all went into that house sleeping, waking up, eating, shitting and going back to sleep everyday for the duration of the show, someone must still win the money. So why doing things that you can't be capable of doing on a normal day all for fame and money? And still got evicted.

Sexy has spoken..

So Nigerians don't kiss or play truth n dare on a normal day. There is nothing extreme in what they are doing, am sure other countries do worst things than Nigeria. And its not by force to watch it, u can simply set pg control to block the channel.

The show is immoral! People less than 18 are watching it, promoting immorality to the entire Nigeria.. There's no pretense or what so ever.. The truth must be said.. Those contestants are doing shit and as such, the show should be stopped.. Porn should not be aired on live TV
Why should they watch it when it's rated? Even the housemates are careful to a large extend because of 24 surveillance.
