But Chelsea is a much more stronger team than Y'all. Get comfy right behind them  grin

No matter what anyone says about this becoming an anthem, it's the simple truth:
United and Fergie are under no pressure to win the league this season. If United win it for the fourth time in a row, shouldn't others be ashamed?

Doesn't mean United should no longer play to win, but fact is fact.

Dooh . . . Overwhelmed by Aston Villa. . .

I have always said this league is Chelsea's to lose . . .

The only way Arsenal or ManUtd would win this league is if Chelsea end up throwing it away . . . cus I don't see either of them really matching up to Chelsea's team quality and strength this season.

Yes I am an Arsenal fan . . . nevertheless the fact remains that Chelsea is looking like the "choosen ones" this season.

@BlueDiva
Conceding a goal at home with one makeshift defender, two just-back-from-injury defenders, and a 2nd team goalie is a lot more respectable than conceding three goals at home with the best defense available, and the ''best'' goalie in charge.

If it makes you feel better, you're right.
Unfortunately, it doesn't change the score line. grin

@nateevs,
If only, we'd be popping Mo' right now.  wink

What has losing at HOME got to do with winning the title.
United have lost at home in the last 3 seasons and still won the big prize.

A loss at home/away is 3 points. A loss at home is not 10 points.

With 22 or so more games to go, you are declaring ''we don't lose at home''. Okay.
Let's hope you don't eat your words.

As for your defending, you lost to Blackburn. Lost to City. Conceded 3 goals against wobbly Everton that could easily have been avoided.
You think that's a ''blip''? I don't. I think it's a problem. grin

As for the scoring part, yeah you're right. But if you concede every minute after you score, where does that leave you?
Draws and losses, that's where.

You dropped 3 pts. . . That's all that matters to me honestly. .
This prevents us from falling apart totally. . .
This gives us hope that things are still on track.

We have Portsmouth, West Ham, Birmingham, Fulham, Hull, Sunderland, Birmingham, Burnley in that order . .

We will have a run with these games. .
By then January will be here and we are buying heavily.

This time around we just might sustain that run. .

Look, we have played better quality teams than these - ManU, Liverpool and Arsenal.
And we didn't concede that many goals. Actually we didn't concede any.

One lesson though. . .  .learn to respect your opponents. . . Villa has pretty much improved and well disciplined defensively.

So what . . Defenders and Goalie are not players?
You must have a lot you want to tell us. . .

Secondly, I ask why not. .
This time last year we had dropped about 12pts at home from guess what . . set-pieces. .
With who ? . . Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Terry, Carvalho, Alex, Cole and guess who PETR CECH. .

A change in tactics and this same lot was keeping clean sheets all the way to the end of the season.
Including a supoosedly high scoring Barca side. . .

Not a player more not one less. .

So what informs your "knowledge" that Chelsea can't sustain a run with the same players. .
You'll do better side-watching honestly. . .

LOL. grin I remember telling him Villa can PLAY, and they always do against big teams.

But I've got issues with Fergie.
I expected to see Fletcher in the middle 'cos of his strength and skill. Villa guys are very physical.
Carrick shoulda paired Vidic in central defense, being a better defender than Fletch, and Brown shoulda rested. He isn't match-ready.

Park hasn't been impressive since he got back from injury. What he was doing in the starting line-up, I have no idea. Even Nani woulda been better.

Rooney is not the kind of player you designate as point-man . He roams a lot, and he is too unselfish. He'd rather give the ball to the next man than slot it in himself. Why you keep making such a player point-man beats me.
He should be left to roam.
Why Owen and Berba got benched, I dunno. We shoulda gone 4-4-2 from the start.

Then Giggs. Why take him off?

Anywayz, coulda woulda shoulda.  .  .won't change the score line. But should change future games, hopefully.

@Nateevs
Won't say too much so your blind support will let you get the message.
First, this isn't last season. Need a calender?

Second, it's not just about the players, it's about their F-O-R-M.
If you like, get Messi, but if he is in poor form you'll never get a goal from him. Ya dig?
With your defense this poor and with Cech this shaky, you cannot sustain an unbeaten run. Ya dig?
You might score a lot to make up for the poor defense, but there'll always be that team/those teams that'll thwart you at some point.
Under-estimating any team is the beginning of the end.  .  .Blackburn showed y'all that. grin

It would really help you if you could learn to quit letting your support blind your judgment and reasoning abilities.

No be say u talk but the issue is this, i rather accept we lost this match to the fact the opponents were better and disciplined
Than cos we didn't get the tactics right. . . .we should learn out lessons
Even if we were given 30 more minutes, we couldn't have scored, believe me!!

I doffed my heart for their maturity and character.
At least TKB and his like woulda learned that Aston Villa is not Wolfsburg or Westham
Anyway, i am looking forward to the next game. . . won't you look for something else to do than arguing with Nateevs?

Seems he didn't realise the message of work on your defence you passed him?
Same player ko? No worry, let same players keep playing like they did today and lets see where it leads them.
they've also failed to realise that managing these bad patches was the reason why they lost their rhythms in previous seasons!!
I no fit talk this evening abeg!! More concerned about my vehicle not yet cleared from the wharf!!

You saying we cannot beat Villa?
If we were given 30 more minutes, with the right line-up, we woulda scored. That's a fact.
That line-up/formation was just wrong for a skilled and physical team like A.Villa. We didn't put our best foot forward.
Fergie does wonders with his tinkering, no doubt, but there are some teams you just don't go gambling with.

As for Nateevs, guess the draw is still making his heart ache. grin
It's not about names.  .  .it's about form. No matter how big your player is, if his form is poor, expect a poor performance.
How hard is that to comprehend?

This is turning out to be a great week in fantasy footie for me - first Sorensen saves a pen, then Agbonlahor downs Utd. . . .all I need is Cesc to score a hattrick and I'm in business.   grin
