Some of the owner's of those businesses such as Araume Johnson had massive debts in their other companies which they were using cash flow from the airline to service. This had been going on for a long time. Aero on the other hand was subject to infighting amongst the largest shareholders - Ibru family.

I don't agree with the sack of directors. I think the DG Usman is high handed lazy fellow.

If our government has been moving at this pace over the past 18 months, we would have been seeing at least a semblance of the change we all crave for in our dear Nation. Hopefully the sack will ginger some serious actions towards addresing safety, security and decency in all our airports particularly the international ones.

An airport is the first contact most visitors have with any country and it could make or mar!
